Forget about paying 16 $ for arroz con picallado .Here at La Casona you will only pay $10.00 Check their daily price for the weekly cheap menu. No more that $ 11.00BYOB“
“My all-time favorite neighborhood restaurant. Grew up eating here, the food and service is always top notch. El Unico has catered countless events for family and friends with the most generous servings at an affordable price, if you know you know!“
“Food was Amazing as Always … Best Ecuadorian Restaurant in New Jersey for sure ! Their Encebollado Barcelona which i always have is the best ! , besides their Caldo de Bola and Guatita are Outstanding and I’m sure all the other dishes are just are as Great ! I know sometimes of the day is a wait to be seated since it’s so packed … but the wait is Definitely Worth itParking: You have to go early because the only parking is street parking , you’ll usually find some after a while …“
“I have never physically been here. I always order through DoorDash. Food is delicious! Customer service over the phone is one of the bests I have received in Jersey city/Union city and I work in restaurant as well. If they ran out of something they offered me other varieties. (I majority of the time order late, close to closing)Griselda is the sweetest! I had an issue with my order and she went above and beyond to make it happen for me. Now I want to physically go and enjoy their in person service! You guys rock!“
“Best rotisserie chicken I every had. I you like Chinese fried rice like me, this is the best place to get the best of both worlds. Seating is limited and parking is very hard to come by. My other issue is they only accept cash so you getting bring some. Other than that, I love going here even if it far from me and parking is hard.“
“I live in the area and happened to walk by this place on the way to another but decided to detour. Boy was I surprised and happy with my decision! I ordered chicken tostadas (you get 4!), chicken chilaquiles, queso empanadas and fries. Everything was delish! The salsa verde on the chilaquiles was so tasty and the chicken was so flavorful! The portions were generous and the staff was incredibly nice. This is definitely going in my rotation of take out places!“
“It's so hard to find a good , authentic Ecuadorian place and I finally found one ! The service was great and the food was even better. I had a ceviche de camaron to share with my husband and it wasn't what I typically see , it was done a little differently than what I'm accustomed to but it was delicious . I got the seco de chivo as my entree and it was so flavorful , it took me back to when I lived in Ecuador so authentic. Overall 10/10. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be coming back!“
“I want to get the bad out of the way first. I do feel the prices are a bit on the expensive side by a few bucks, especially for a local restaurant. They charge NYC prices. They should also make sure the menu prices match what they charge. I was going to take a star away for the price but what I write next will explain why I didn't.The food here is absolutely delicious. I have come here for breakfast and dinner and I am never disappointed in the food. The people that work here also seem very nice. I've never had issues with the service. The ladies here seem like they are in a good mood and they are working hard. All their food is good but I want to put my focus on their beans. I am a bean loving Puerto Rican and if you are a Latino restaurant that sells beans...they better be good. Well, this place has great beans. I appreciate the flavor and consistency of the beans. There are places that give you watery or watered down beans and it is a practice that I look down on because these places don't respect the details of the beans. As for my favorite dish, I am a simple guy and I enjoy their breaded chicken with rice and beans. I will also say that their version of arroz moro is absolutely great. So yes it is a bit more expensive but the richness of the food and the portions that you get will certainly make it more palatable. For this reason, I did not take a star away.“
“The food was good for the price one pays. I was surprised because they serve you a lot and the seasoning was good. Their huancaína noodles with chop were unbeatable, very delicious and their wonton soup was also delicious. I would go again without a doubt when I Craving something Peruvian!“

“This is my favorite place to go too! They are always so kind and nice to me and treat me very well! I’m learning my Spanish more and more with the lady there!I enjoy the pizza here! It's not so greasy and always tastes fresh! I do wish there was more pepperoni on the pizza. There wings are amazing! I always get flats a couple dollars more but amazing! Fired to Perfection! The desert wasn't noting crazy to go about and it's wasn't as sweet and didn't really hit the spot! Definitely recommend that they get tiramisu or batchThis is also my favorite place! They are always very nice and kind to me and treat me very well! “I ate here everything so good I had a salad and chicken and yuca Frita delicious. I personally love their tres leches cake so good . One thing I was worry the ladies bathroom door it didn't locked I was concern I just hope they fix and the toilet didn't flush all the way I know those things can be fixable . I do recommend if you want to eat here. The customer service was good .“
“This place is great! Have eaten here a many times.A little place but it moves, always busy so food is fresh. This is Ecuadorian cuisine, by a Salvadoran owner/Chef. Don’t fret Angel knows how to cook coastal Ecuadorian food. The place is always packed, be patient, so sometimes it’s best to order before hand and pick up.Prices are fair, portions are large, it’s clean and the ambiance is authentic.Careful with negative reviews it could also be rival restaurants commenting.“
“This place has such good food. Their baleadas are very flavorful and rich. Their churrasco was juicy and accompanied well by the rice and beans. That dish was a little pricey though compared to other places. Oh and the pupusas are so good here. Some of the best I've had.“
“Food is so good, and the people tending are so nice. Everything was made fresh for us on the spot, and it was delicious. I hate going to places and for the mofongo or tostones to feel like they have been sitting there premade, so annoying. We had a chicken chimi, a pernil mofongo, cheese empanadas, a morir soñando and another shake. The chimi was perfect, the meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the bread was nice and toasty, and the rest of the fillings were perfect. The mofongo was nice and moist, they also cover it with a nice bechamel sauce and the pernil was deliciously seasoned. Going back to try the reg chimi :)Pescado frito con tostones is very popular, two dif people came in and ordered it while we were sitting there. I'll have to try it too.“
