“So I came here for my birthday dinner and at first I did not want to eat there since I thought it will be a party vibe, but the lounge area wasn’t open. Which I get it since it was a Wednesday. But the Chef did not want us to leave disappointed, he did it all (Champagne, birthday sign, food, shots) all at a discounted price. & let me tell u the food did not disappoint. It was delicious! I was overwhelmed with his generosity. He really made my night special. And something I will always remember. Keep Being the kind person u are Wilmer. Good things will definitely come to u. “An Amazing Experience Thanks to Blanca!
I have to start by saying that our experience at Pasaporte in Astoria almost didn't happen! When we first arrived, we honestly considered leaving. The hostess made us feel a bit uncomfortable, simply because the table we wanted was supposedly unavailable.
But then came Blanca, and what a difference one person can make!
Blanca was absolutely AMAZING! Her kindness, professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality completely turned our experience around. She was the reason we decided to stay, and from beginning to end, her service was truly FIRST CLASS, 20/10! She is the kind of person who makes you want to return to a restaurant, not just for the food, but for the way she makes you feel.
And speaking of the food, EVERYTHING was spectacular! The croquettes were delicious, the steak chaufa rice was incredible, and the roasted chicken was absolutely divine! We even saw a fish dish being served at the table next to ours that looked so amazing we've already decided that's what we're ordering next time!
We left extremely happy with the food and, most importantly, grateful to Blanca for turning a disappointing first impression into such a wonderful dining experience.
Pasaporte has a true gem on its team, and her name is BLANCA! Employees like her deserve recognition because exceptional service truly makes all the difference.

“This was a really good deli! I got chicken tenders and fries to eat, and at first, I was a little disappointed, as I thought it was a little pricey for what I got. However, once I bit into them, I instantly changed my mind. The tenders were crispy and juicy, and the fries were awesome! They were cooked to perfection, and some of the best fries I’ve ever had. I got a cup of coffee as well, which was fine enough. Even though it was a little pricey, the increase in quality definitely made it worth it!“
