“We went out for dinner tonight at S-Meat & Hueso in Astoria, and as always, the experience was spectacular. As soon as we arrived, our server introduced themselves and was extremely attentive throughout the entire night. This time we tried the Premium All-You-Can-Eat option, and it was amazing—the quality of the meat is excellent. It's also great for kids; my son had the chicken wings and loved them. To top it all off, we enjoyed some ice-cold beers that were absolutely perfect.

“What an awesome meal! We ordered two arepas, both GF, and maduros. Beautiful space. Impeccable service. They gave us a choclo with cheese and an aperitif on the house. We’ll be back.“

“I like this place. We had brunch and the food tasted really good. Baked Chix w/ lemon, awesome. Juicy, moist and tasty. The rice and beans w/chicharones, yum. Not into sweets but the flan w/caramel just hit the spot, it was sweet but not too sweet. The ladies, servers, was very nice and attentive. The ambience, upgraded industrial columbian resto, great.“

“Went here with my brother for breakfast last week. It was excellent. I got huevos pericos (scrambled eggs with tomato, peppers, green onions, etc.) and he got the rice and beans with sausage. Both were excellent. The green hot sauce was also really good—we almost went through an entire bottle. Finally we split a vanilla do if which was more like a donut eclair; very very sweet but good. In short, I loved this place. There is no wonder it is so hyped up and popular.“

“Mama’s Empanadas has become a mandatory stop whenever I’m working in the city. No matter how many times I go, it never disappoints. The empanadas are always fresh, flavorful, and packed with filling.

Our family favorites are the Spicy Chicken, Hawaiian, and the Biagra, and I honestly can’t leave without bringing a box home because my kids expect it at this point. The Spicy Chicken has just the right kick, the Hawaiian is the perfect sweet-and-savory combination, and the Biagra absolutely lives up to the hype.“

“Stumbled upon this place by chance and was really impressed. I tried the pan queso and the bunuelos. Both were delicious and freshly made. Also grabbed an iced coffee, which hit the spot. Prices were surprisingly reasonable for a café. Definitely worth a visit!“
