“I’m so happy that I ignored the reviews and ordered from here anyway. I’m Colombian, so if I think the food is good it’s because it is! Their hot chocolate was authentic and delicious! Their buñuelos are huge which is a plus! The portions of their dishes are perfect. I was extremely happy with my order. I’m so happy that I was able to order through seamless and they delivered to me 2 miles away. My food and drink were hot and fresh! I was so delighted that I even called the restaurant to thank them because their hot chocolate spoke to my soul. I can’t wait to try their soups over the weekend.“

“This was an amazing place!! I came here with my family and everyone was delighted. The woman who attended to us was a sweetheart and very patient as we had placed a big order. The jugo de maracuya en leche tasted so close to the one I had in Medellin. The chuzo was perfect, the arepa I wasn’t a big fan of but that’s more of how I have a personal preference for a crisper arepa. There’s options for pork or chicken chuzos, I tried both and the pork definitely won.
I will say we got very lucky because we got here early so there wasn’t anyone eating at the bar area, so the 4 of us managed to get seats. There is also another standing area but it’s not very big. I wouldn’t expect to always get lucky with getting seats so be prepared to stand and eat, it’s worth it though! This place is also CASH ONLY, there is a Citi Bank nearby if you need cash. There is NO indoor seating. Prices were pretty good for everything.“

“Best place to buy an empanada if you are in a hurry. The beef, chicken, and cheese empanadas are very good. The female workers that work there are amazing. $2.50 each for an empanada is still pretty decent. You won’t find empanadas anywhere priced at $2.50 because in other locations, they are priced at $3.00. But definitely come visit this place.“

“Located inside upscale international cafe. We got the mixta arepas which were filled with beef, shrimp, chicken, fried pork belly and cheese (Carne, Pollo, Chicharrón y Camarón Adicional de Aguacate o Queso). It tasted so good until we got to the part with belly party which tasted very bad. Service was extremely nice .“
“If you’re looking for authentic Colombian food that hits every time, this food truck is IT.
This has been my partner and I’s go-to date night spot for about a year now, and it truly never disappoints. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made day of. You can taste the quality in every bite.
Prices can vary — sometimes it’s around $34 for two plates, other times closer to $38 — but the portions and flavor make it worth it every time. They’re usually busy (because it’s that good), so I highly recommend ordering about 15 minutes ahead.
A few honest notes:
- Only cash!
- Sometimes they run out of tomatoes or avocado for the salad, but they’ll let you know in advance if you’re ordering ahead.
- Occasionally the salad needs a little more vinegar, don’t be shy to ask for extra!
- And definitely try all their sauces. The spicy red sauce is AMAZING… but fair warning: some days it’s fun spicy and other days it’s clear-your-sinuses spicy.
Overall, fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and the perfect casual date night vibe. If you love Colombian food, this spot is a must.“

Parking: My recommendation is to find a nearby lot with parking. Parking is impossible around that area but again the restaurant is amazing. Actual food highly recommended.“

The establishment prides itself on offering a wide variety of products, ensuring there's something to suit every palate. The bakery's commitment to quality is evident in the taste and freshness of its offerings. Whether you opt for a pan de bono or one of their renowned empanadas, you're sure to enjoy a satisfying culinary experience. While the bakery's central location makes it easily accessible, some patrons have noted that there is room for improvement in terms of customer service. However, this does not detract from the overall appeal of the establishment. In conclusion, the Colombian Bakery is a recommended stop for those looking to sample authentic Colombian flavors in a convenient setting. With its diverse selection of products and commitment to quality, it offers a pleasant culinary experience worth exploring“

“Please understand that your business is not located in Colombia where owners struggle to keep afloat . If I go to buy beef empanadas I expect you to put beef in them . For the price have more respect for the costumer , this is not the 3rd world . Empanadas de res que hay que buscar con lupa , pura papa chichipatos.“

“We always enjoy the food and drinks here. Luisa was a great waitress and we had a nice time there. The chicken champignon (mushroom sauce) was delicious and loaded with mushrooms. Great classic margaritas for under $10 with lunch. ❤️“
