“Outstanding bakery. They have a number of hard to find Greek and Mediterranean specialty pastries. Prices are reasonable and there is a nice little seating area on the sidewalk. Namely - they have Kavala cookies. Delicious and crispy. What a treat to find these here.“

As a habitual tea drinker, I could tell the leaves used were high quality and the taste was complex and tangy. The oat bar was the perfect mix of tart and sweet. And the BABKA…to die for—chocolately, pillowy dough, rich…who can ask for more? Also the woman who took my order was so kind and helpful! Wonderful spot with great service!! “Don't let Gandalf's scowling face discourage you! This pastry cafe is a MUST GO. We tried a little of everything, but my personal favorite (so far), was the pizza croissant. I've had A LOT of pastry in my time (my son went to the Culinary Institute and he's a pastry fanatic), but I swear to you, Elevenses' croissants are AMAZING. The pizza croissant had a little heat, a little tomato and a little cheese but BIG FLAVOR. I know it's annoying when someone capitalizes stuff for emphasis and I have never done it before so you can imagine, I'm not messing around. If you love flavor, freshness, an attention to every detail in every bite, you must try this place. It's a little out of the way, but honestly, it's a reason to come to Astoria. Manon, move over, Elevenses pastry has taken the prize.
BTW, just found out Georgia's landlord is being a brute and Elevenses will soon close. SAVE ELEVENSES!!!! “This is such a cute idea! They created a pick up window to service Queens. It's so nice to have a Levain here, and the pick up window is so charming! It feels like I'm ringing the door and getting to meet the baker. It's a great place to meet a friend and grab a cookie to-go for a walk. You place the order online and then when you get there they ring the bell and have your order ready! The staff was so wonderful. Jocelyn helped me today and went above and beyond to make sure I had exactly what I wanted, and also shared her recommendations. I love the Coffee Toffee cookie and hope you will consider keeping it on your full-time menu!“

I’m not sure if this is the correct shop, but I visited last weekend to buy some Dubai chocolate. The owner wasn’t there, and his father was helping at the store. Unfortunately I didn’t have cash, and he wasn’t sure how to use the credit card machine, so I said it was fine and that I would leave without taking it.
However, he insisted and even ran after me in the street to give me the chocolate. I live in Manhattan and rarely come to Astoria, so it’s difficult for me to return in person.
I would really like to pay for it. If this is the right shop, could the owner please contact me so I can send the payment via Zelle or Venmo?

“I walked to five different places, and I finally found this gem. Not only did I have the garden omelet with added bacon and peppers, I also had a hot pumpkin spice coffee. I didn't even need any creamer. Okay, I did put three packets of sugar. But still! Customer service was superb. There are so many different options. If I lived in the area, this would be a go-to spot. If you're getting off the subway, check this place out. You will not regret it, I promise. Go above and beyond for your customers, and they will do the same!“
