What a lovely surprise ! I knew the staff as they were formerly working at the iconic Yaya’s Bakery, a staple family business in 31 st that closed down after many years of business.

Beautiful, clean bakery. Tried the orange cake and it was incredible!
Has to be my fave bakery in astoria! Great 7 layer chocolate cake and spinach pie. AND great baklavas. Staff is always cheerful and extremely easygoing.

Based on the reviews, Malu Bakery in Astoria, Queens, NYC is a great bakery with a great experience. The best cappuccino and delicious pastries are available. Everything is fresh and made with care. For holidays, there are special offerings like mixed cookie platters or special loaves. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the staff are incredibly friendly and kind. The service is outstanding, and the prices are very reasonable. It is a lovely addition to the neighborhood and definitely worth the visit, especially in the warmer months when you can grab a coffee and a treat out front.
