“This is a family owned business. They primarily sell Mexican sweet bread. Alongside they also sell cakes and drinks like coffee. I recommend this place because they are so friendly and if you’re lucky at times they also have bread they give out for free for you to try. This is how they advertise their new breads. I highly recommend this place once again if you’re near the area give it a try I promise you won’t regret it.“

“Fresh and great place to get your bakery for real. I wish I had knew about this place sooner. Customer service is great and they answer all your questions you might have. Prices are super great too and their cakes are amazing. They open up early and close late too. I recommend this place 💯.“
“The ladies who serve the public in this bakery are very friendly and respectful. Excellent client service. The bread, empanadas and other food you find here; They have a very good flavor and fair prices. The site is very clean and organized. The owner of the place is very courteous to customers and greets in a friendly manner. Actually, there is only one thing I don't like about this place, it is very far from my house, but because of the achiras bread, the empanadas for my son and the coffee, among other products that I love; It is worth going to this place. I wouldn't change this Colombian bakery for any other in NY. I want you to be my neighbors, please, so I can shop there every day.☺️Thank you for your good service and quality products.“

It’s a family owned business and it serves the community in one of the best ways: through amazing authentic delicacies. I hope primos bakery stays open forever.“

“I loved the place, there I found a jewel of a Colombian bakery on a corner of Northern Blvd and 100 in Queens, the closest to the Colombian flavor that I have found in a bakery in the USA, very personalized attention. My favorites are the arepa de chocolo, the oats, the fritters, in short, all their products are fresh, of the day.“

“The workers and the owner are very friendly and attentive. One enters the business and it feels as if one has arrived at one's home, very familiar. The food tastes great, my favorite is the chicken quesadillas. Not to mention their sweet breads fresh out of the oven, they are spectacular!“

“The best carnitas in Queens! On weekends they have carnitas and barbecue. And the instant handmade tortillas, omg!!When I want to eat carnitas and feel like I'm in Mexico, I come to La Espiga.Their minced meats are delicious too. La espiga offers a variety of dishes, so there is something for all tastes. There are always people, but you will always find a seat. ?“

“I think most of the clients are
In love with Capi some super delicious cakes in my family everyone wants capi cake for their birthday or any special occasion
But this time we got (service) from the young Monce who needs customer service training
Many times we have a bad day but the client does not deserve their bad mood.
Or simply as a worker we forget that thanks to the client they pay us our salary, not only does the business benefit from the client... my dilemma is
YOU HAVE TO LOVE YOUR JOB
Otherwise you damage the reputation of the business and you are not happy.“
“Fantastic coffee & lunch! Very friendly & helpful staff. Especially since I'm from North Carolina and don't speak spanish. The nice customers helped me too. They have a green sauce that goes with the empanadas that is awesome; I would buy it by the quart! And a Columbian roll with cheese that is not sweet that is wonderful. Definitely will go back next time I'm in NYC“
“I stopped by in flushing to drop off a passenger for the us opens and decided to walk around Rosevelt Ave. I already had something before walking in so I got me a coffee and a coconut bread all 7 bucks. The bread and coffee was good and I believe the waiter was a little nervous due to my character possibly. I found it that people are not used to friendly or over friendly greatings due to it being offensive or comming off to strong in other countries ( I’m Hispanic decent). But no worries I will come back. Aye! 😁“
“Authentic Colombian fare that's delicious. I tried traditional baked goods- almojabanas (my favorite) and pan de bono. The 'avena' or oatmeal drink was the best my husband has ever tried. We also tried the chicharron (pork rind) and traditional Colombian sausage accompanied by potaoes.....yummy. The next day I had my Colombian comfort food - the tamal valluno, which I ordered frozen, to go. Amazing flavor! I must go back to try more dishes, but I definitely recommend this eatery in Astoria.“

“This had been my favorite place to order hot chocolate until today. I decided to have a ham and cheese croissant for breakfast and order hot chocolate, which they delivered cold. We told them we wanted it hotter, and they brought it back cold.“
