“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“

“Stopped by this cafe after going to a cafe that didn't have Frappe on their menu. It's like a must have if I'm in Astoria to get a Frappe. So I came across this little cafe, interested to see what they had to offer. The lady that greeted me was nice and patient when I asked her what she recommended from their signature menu. I had never had a Freddo Espresso but she recommended it since I don't particularly like sweet drinks. A 10/0 in my opinion. I was eyeing something to munch on so I asked about any recommendations. I love Greek food. If I could eat it every day, I would. I've had Spinach pie before but I wanted something different and she recommended the Mediterranean pie. It was beyond delicious!! Overall this place had everything I was looking for including a cozy atmosphere, followed by nice staff with incredible options on their menu. I highly recommend that if you're in the area to definitely check out Elysian Cafe!!!“

“Great spot for an egg sandwich had the sausage, egg and cheese, it was so good I returned the next day and tried something different. The spicy roll definitely my new favorite. Great combination of flavor for an egg sammy. Price is on point hard to find great spots with reasonable prices but this place finds a way to do so.“

“You must check out this coffee roaster in Astoria! They have a variety of coffees available so you are sure to find one you like. If you want a little treat they offer a variety of pastries including gluten free and vegan options which is a huge plus. On Mondays at 10:30 am they do weekly coffee cuppings that are open to the public. Be sure to give coffee cupping a try, it's fun to taste different beans and talk with others about what you're tasting.“

“I don't drink coffee everyday but I really like their pistachio latte, biscoff and the salted caramel latte. Usually I have to ask for the drinks to be less sweet but here its very lightly sweetened which is perfect for my taste. The drinks go well with their bakery, I would try the cheesecake for sure.

The cafe has a nice and calm vibe perfect for working. Theres a bathroom for customer use. The employee or owner is knowledgeable about what is being sold. It seems that there are a lot of regulars coming by to get their morning coffee because she knew all their order which can be a plus since this kind of service is pretty rare these days.“

“El Greco Coffee has become one of my favorite morning stops! The staff is always incredibly friendly and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. They have a great selection of quick morning bites when you’re on the go—I especially love their ham and cheese. Their specialty Greek coffees and drinks are what really make this place stand out. “I come here quite frequently. Food and drinks are always good, and the baristas are always friendly. Lines usually go quick which is a plus during school drop off and pick up.

I had an incident where a friend of the barista fraudulently added to my transaction. I contacted Moa about it and they took care of it right away. It was definitely another customer and not the Barista, but thankfully ownership took care of it. I've changed my rating and review to reflect this which is great, because I really do like this place a lot and it's a convenient location.“

“I normally lobe this place and often go there. Sadly I just had a petty experience with a disinterested staff member. I got a pastry and paid in cash. It came to $5.02,. I put down $5 thinking the 02 cents wouldn't matter, as I had no change. But the young lady repeated the price with the 02 cents. I put in an extra dollar bill. Ince she got around to getting my pastry, she gave me back change, but shorted me 03 cents. Hey if 02 cents is important, than so is 03 cents. Obviously, I don't care about the money. I do care about passive aggressive service that left me with a bad taste in my mouth. It was the first unpleasant experience I've had there. Hopefully, it will be the last if this comment has the effect I'm hoping for. Save the passive aggressive stuff for when you're not at work.“

“I was really bummed out that most of the hotels that were fair priced in the area did not have included breakfast. I noticed they had coffee so my first thought was to go inside and check it out. Coffee is cheap but it is fresh and always taste amazing, my whole stay I got up every morning to get a sausage, egg, cheese burrito with pico de galo sauced with ketchup, mayo, mustard and salt and pepper! Everything came under $20! I am very thankful and I loved my stay! The owners inside the business was very aware of their surroundings and cared to every customer in an efficient time. As soon as they came in the door! You can tell this business has been here for a long time! You would even see some of the same people come inside, like they were regular customers, my partner got a the breakfast platters and he said it was under $15 that is amazing! The ambience was decorated towards Dominican entrees and the portions was fair also! I highly recommend this place and if I come back I will try everything on the menu and the smoothies!“

“A very beautiful space with cozy sofas, interior and light. The food wasn’t something crazy about: we took potatoes, parsnip soup, and tiramisu latte, they were okay. The place by itself was a little bit dirty on the floor, and some details, as a server that didn’t know that tiramisu includes alcohol in a recipe, and the fact that the same coffee was served in different cups, brought a feeling of mess, however I want to come back for lazy mornings atmosphere.
We parked right near the main entrance, however it’s under construction zone now.“

“i had to put a laundry close by, so i wanted a place to have some coffee while i waited. this is a small place in the corner, serves coffee/lunch / breakfast.. the coffee was good, i also had a grilled chicken wrap (greek), which was surprisingly very tasty. they have a rich menu if you want to grab a bite. the staff was extremely nice and the place kept being full of people. the place is clean, you can sit inside or outside. they also had Wi-Fi. i was totally happy with everything. recommended 👍🏼👍🏼
