It’s got these high ceilings, soft natural light and this beautiful olive tree inside that makes the whole place feel calm and a little magical. Super clean, super welcoming, you walk in and just instantly relax. The coffee is legit! Their cappuccinos are silky, the Greek coffee tastes like home, and everything’s made with care. Grab a spinach pie that flakes perfectly or the bougatsa with that creamy custard filling both are made in-house and honestly addictive. For something more substantial, the Elysian sandwich is a winner, and their Greek salad is fresh, chunky, and loaded with good feta. Nothing fussy, just really good. “Great spot for an egg sandwich had the sausage, egg and cheese, it was so good I returned the next day and tried something different. The spicy roll definitely my new favorite. Great combination of flavor for an egg sammy. Price is on point hard to find great spots with reasonable prices but this place finds a way to do so.“

A simple yet elegant cafe situated on a busy bike path. The open doors are very inviting and beckons you to sit down.

I passed 30 cafes on the way from Long Island and finally decided to peek inside.

One sip of the cappuccino and I was cheerful. The scone was decent too. Really enjoyed sitting here in the calmness, yet observing the busy cyclists cruising pass 😊

“You must check out this coffee roaster in Astoria! They have a variety of coffees available so you are sure to find one you like. If you want a little treat they offer a variety of pastries including gluten free and vegan options which is a huge plus. On Mondays at 10:30 am they do weekly coffee cuppings that are open to the public. Be sure to give coffee cupping a try, it's fun to taste different beans and talk with others about what you're tasting.“

The flavor is perfectly balanced, the foam is silky smooth, and you can tell they truly understand authentic Greek coffee culture. The atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant — hands down the best place for Greek coffee.

“I loved this place! First of all it is Islamic owned so everything is halal, kosher and Zabiha certified. (I believe) The place itself was easy on the eyes so there was a lot of color everywhere to be seen and they select art pieces on display along with props as such. They actually had movie like posters of their most popular signature options which I thought to be pretty cool as well as a wall art decor you can easily take a picture with. Plenty of seating to go around and street parking is available. They had a wide variety of selected options to choose from in their menu and luckily it was detailed, organized and visually appealing with all the pictures of the food displayed right next to the name of the dish, meal or drink. I myself spent $15 to get a Nutella, strawberry, jelly waffle Croft with a feta cheese, baby tomatoes, cucumber, black olive, mint, buttered and toasted sandwich. I would’ve got a drink but I didn’t want it to melt in my car by the time I went home. By the way I do recommend the select ice cream, smoothie, milkshake and or frosted options they have on display because they add a lot of ingredients that makes you feel you are getting the best bang for your buck. Everything is cheap, healthy and delicious and the staff are pretty welcoming and accommodating.“

Efficient team of two in the mornings, my wait on a weekday between 8:30-9:00 was just at or slightly under 10 min for a BEC and iced coffee, not bad, and cheap compared to what you pay for at Starbucks. I'd prefer to support this small business any day.“

“It's a really cute place...small...intimate...but I feel like it could use a facelift. It's pretty much been the same look for 10 years now. It would also be nice if they introduced some new food offerings. Also, more recently, their coffee has often tasted 'burnt'.“

“Awesome little spot, would highly recommend. Literally tasted like it was home cooking. The everything bagel with lox was great, but the chicken with rice and beans was my favorite. Chicken was fall off the bone tender and melted in my mouth, with a kick of flavor from house-made salsa verde and some heat for good measure. I was also surprised that such a small place had amazing coffee as well. I only wish I had a bigger appetite that day so I could have had the ruben sandwich! Looking forward to coming again. “Love a corner restaurant! Staff is always so cool and welcoming. The cocktails are well designed, the space is dark and comfy for groups but I think it’s especially sexy for a date night. I know that offer a few fun happy hour “girl dinner options”. However my obsession lies with the chicken dinner, which normally would not be my go to at a spot, but this dish has a hold on me. It’s such a good size that you could share it but it’s also so delicious you don’t want to. The chicken is pounded thin but still juicy and subtly sweet, comes with an amazing pairing of crazy creamy polenta and this somehow addictive kale, but the true star is the smoky sauce that I want to bathe in. So divine! If they ever got rid of it I would cry.“
