Saltenas were rich, juicy, and hearty (start at one end) and the Sopa de Mani is not at all what I expected peanut soup to taste like. think of Rich complex New England clam chowder without the clams. really no peanutty taste at all. the owner was wonderful as well“

The owner and his wife are both born and raised in Ecuador, very friendly customer service. Every option on their Ecuadorian menu is TOP-NOTCH DELICIOUS!! “Recently went and although the food and waiter staff were great, we were expecting what we seen on here. There was no performances. An empty space. Apparently there's a 2 hr gap between brunch and dinner. The booking site allowed for a 4pm reservation. When we arrived we were accommodated but looked at funny. We found out that brunch had ended at 3pm. I was really hoping for the full experience I seen here and paid alot and didn't get it.“

“I went to a family friend’s 70th birthday party they hosted in the Atlantic ballroom. The space was modern and very clean. The food was DELICIOUS!!! And the workers, Yiselle, Estrellita, and Shorty (blonde) made the event so memorable! They paid attention to every detail, whether it was filling our water cups, collecting unused plates and of course they did it all with a warm smile. They were kind, funny and very welcoming. “This place is everything a restaurant needs…
I tried to walk in, and was packed, but that made me want to come back two days later with my friend Brian, who actually recommended it to me.

Again packed thank god we had a reservation, tight space but is exactly what makes it special, we had a table but we decided to sit a the bar because it had a more fun vibe, Josue the bartender greeted us very warm and friendly.

I asked Josue what else should I order and he mentioned the yapingacho,
And this i would never think it was going to be as good as it was because of the ingredients but believe me it works

“Cute spot in the East Village to get a small bite or a coffee. I dropped in on a cold Winter day to get a warm empanada , which was a good idea . I ordered the Papa Con Queso (potatoes and cheese ) which they have to fry up fresh for you (other empanada are not fried.) There are cosy places to sit and several different sauces on the table (i liked the green herb one.) Staff are nice and the empanada was like $3.50. It was crispy and tasty - a nice snack if you're in the area .“

But the Chef did not want us to leave disappointed, he did it all (Champagne, birthday sign, food, shots) all at a discounted price. & let me tell u the food did not disappoint. It was delicious!
