“Amazing food 9/10, just went here as i was on a business trip in the area and wanted some real authentic spanish food, and this is real spanish food for sure. Steak was flavorful, rice was great texture, beans tasted incredible, plantains were not too soft not too crunchy it was perfect. Tastes like your mom and dad made the food but you can taste the love in the food. Even the limes they give are ripe so it’s not too difficult to squeeze the juice into your food if you want some tanginess to it. Would highly recommend to anyone, I don’t even make reviews or try new places often but this place was 😮💨FIRE!! Portions are big too, a platter that cost $18 is definitely enough to split between 2-3 kids and 1-2 adults and that’s not even the combo meal. I could imagine the combo meal could feed 6-8, glad I came here, will be coming back frequently. Workers love to be here and there is seating here too!“
“Reyes, located in Woodside, Queens, is a fantastic Dominican restaurant that offers a true taste of the Dominican Republic. The standout feature of this cozy spot is their Dominican breakfast, which is a perfect way to start the day. From the classic *mangú* (mashed plantains) to *queso frito* (fried cheese) and *salami*—all served with a side of crispy *mangú* and scrambled eggs—each bite is bursting with flavor and authenticity.
Aside from breakfast, Reyes delivers an array of authentic Dominican dishes that are expertly prepared. The *sancocho* (a hearty meat stew) and *mofongo* (fried plantain mash) are particularly popular, offering rich, savory flavors that transport you straight to the heart of the Caribbean. Their *chicharrón de pollo* (fried chicken) and *arroz con habichuelas* (rice and beans) are also must-tries, showcasing the best of Dominican comfort food.
The only drawback is that Reyes is closed from Friday to Monday, which can make it a bit tricky to get a taste of their delicious offerings during the weekend. Nonetheless, if you're in the area and craving authentic Dominican food, Reyes is definitely worth the visit. The flavors, the quality, and the friendly atmosphere make it a standout spot in Woodside.“

“What stands out most isn't the menu but the people serving it. The whole menu delivered great flavors. The food quality here is reliable. Their staff adjusted easily, offered help and showed genuine warmth. We experienced remarkable hospitality.“

“This is a great Latin cafe spot in the neighborhood that serves anything you can want. I had the Torta 69 style, I wasn’t too blown away by it and I’ve definitely had better tortas elsewhere. They do have a lunch special and the chicken soup was really good. I also had the iced coffee which was perfect for a hot summer day. I would definitely come back to try other menu items out.“

“Recently went and although the food and waiter staff were great, we were expecting what we seen on here. There was no performances. An empty space. Apparently there's a 2 hr gap between brunch and dinner. The booking site allowed for a 4pm reservation. When we arrived we were accommodated but looked at funny. We found out that brunch had ended at 3pm. I was really hoping for the full experience I seen here and paid alot and didn't get it.“

“Absolutely beautiful small cozy restaurant with amazing food and great service. Special thank you to the bartender, I ordered 3 different coctails and asked for no syrup or sugar and they were made perfect to my taste. Roasted beet salad is to die for, octopus amazing and the skirt stake is something to come back for.“

“I went to a family friend’s 70th birthday party they hosted in the Atlantic ballroom. The space was modern and very clean. The food was DELICIOUS!!! And the workers, Yiselle, Estrellita, and Shorty (blonde) made the event so memorable! They paid attention to every detail, whether it was filling our water cups, collecting unused plates and of course they did it all with a warm smile. They were kind, funny and very welcoming. I had a wonderful time! Thank you Yiselle, Estrellita and shorty!!!“

“Excelente sazón y CONSISTENCIA en la misma quizás uno de los mejores restaurantes de comida ecuatoriana en los últimos 3 años en la ciudad de New York . Lugar muy limpio, espacioso , baños impecables, amplio estacionamiento y el sabor de la comida es realmente auténtico , lo único q podría mejorar es la atención un poco caótica y desorganizada pero en general todos los meseros son amables, vayan por ahí no se arrepentirán!“

“I was so excited to spend my birthday at Leticia's. The food and service were fine, and the atmosphere seemed lively enough, but the night ended in total heartbreak. My husband had specifically arranged for a sweet birthday surprise—a simple dessert and a song—and the hostess completely forgot. Watching the night end in absolute silence without even a mention of my birthday was devastating. It completely ruined what should have been a special moment. Remind the hostess or server several times about anything special you want yo do.“

“My wife and I came here for dinner tonight, and we had an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were just as impressive, and the atmosphere had such a great vibe.
I had the Caipirinha, and my wife ordered the Passion Fruit Lychee Martini—both were fantastic and made perfectly.
The highlight of our visit was our bartender, Ricardo. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. He took the time to explain the menu, gave great recommendations, and his service really elevated the entire experience.
It’s not often you find a place where the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere all come together this well. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be recommending Guarapo Latin Fusion to our friends and family. Thank you, Ricardo, for making our night such a great one!“

“Cute spot in the East Village to get a small bite or a coffee. I dropped in on a cold Winter day to get a warm empanada , which was a good idea . I ordered the Papa Con Queso (potatoes and cheese ) which they have to fry up fresh for you (other empanada are not fried.) There are cosy places to sit and several different sauces on the table (i liked the green herb one.) Staff are nice and the empanada was like $3.50. It was crispy and tasty - a nice snack if you're in the area .“

“I have never in my life experienced such gracious hospitality like I did at Savo. From the moment I walked in it was smiles and waves, Vicky was extremely helpful in guiding me through her menu. I felt like I was at home. The chef came out and shook my hand then made me the illest salmon rice bowl i have ever had. The only thing wrong with this place is they dont have 10x more locations. Great job Savo.“

“Went to this restaurant for first time in July for a birthday celebration. Nice large restaurant, great artwork displays. The food was good; the tostones appetizers could use more seasoning, tasted bland. great portions, had to take rest of meal home. The staff displayed good customer service. Overall, a very nice find for Latin cuisine in downtown Brooklyn.“

“So I came here for my birthday dinner and at first I did not want to eat there since I thought it will be a party vibe, but the lounge area wasn’t open. Which I get it since it was a Wednesday. But the Chef did not want us to leave disappointed, he did it all (Champagne, birthday sign, food, shots) all at a discounted price. & let me tell u the food did not disappoint. It was delicious! I was overwhelmed with his generosity. He really made my night special. And something I will always remember. Keep Being the kind person u are Wilmer. Good things will definitely come to u. I will be back. THANKS AGAIN!“

“First time eating Bolivian food and it was out of this world! Saltenas were rich, juicy, and hearty (start at one end) and the Sopa de Mani is not at all what I expected peanut soup to taste like. think of Rich complex New England clam chowder without the clams. really no peanutty taste at all. the owner was wonderful as well“
