One of my favorite places in NYC.The service is lovely and the food is fantastic. The chips that they bring out with every order are lovely. Their sandwiches are great, my favorite is the French onion dip. And the chicken dinner... absolutely amazing. Ordered the Pepian for delivery as a sick day pick me up and it was perfect. Full of flavor and spices and on request, the team even threw in a complimentary serving of their signature spicy chili oil and some steamed tortilla to mop the bowl. The portion was generous and will last me at least two servings. If you’re a fan of mole, the Pepian will be right up your alley!I also love the frozen lime and tamarind slushie…cannot wait for summer to swing back around so I can indulge!

Good vibe, the Tlalpeno Rojo soup is brilliant. The hot figs are a treat to share. Loco corn is also good. Chicken sandwiches are not their specialty. Delicious volcanic hot sauce. Neat weird variety of hot chocolates you can grab to go for a park stroll on a cold day.
