“We celebrated my mother’s 60th birthday surprise dinner with 50 guests and it was a very lovely experience. Niurka upon meeting her was very sweet charismatic and ensured to answer all of our questions before booking the space. We kept in communication to make sure everything was right before the night of the dinner. The night of the dinner she made sure everything was set up before our arrival! Every person working that night was professional, friendly, attentive and efficient. The food was amazing as well. This was my first time here, and I will definitely return for another dinner night!“

“The owner is very cordial and considerate. The restaurant is clean and has two bathrooms one for men and one for women. I had a beef stew which was a lunch special it had white rice ,mixed vegetables and lots of beef. It would’ve been better on separate plates for each of the items on the special. I’m sure if asked they would serve the special on respective separate plates when asked. The food is served from a hot table with 8 or 10 selections of entrees ofbeef,pork,chicken,and vegetables as well as white rice. It is a basic eat in restaurant doing a large delivery business. The do have a wine and beer license and serve after 12 pm. I tipped though it wasn’t implied. A good place to go.“

“the restaurant is good, it is about one or two years old and the food is very good. The only bad thing is the employees who are unprofessional and unfriendly. On the menu they always have a lot of variety of food, they make rice, beans, pork, beef, chicken, fish, salads, soups, for dinnin in and delivery. I live like 8 blocks away and every time l call to order it always arrives super fast in less than 20 minutes… they cook low in fat and are very clean. the only thing they have to improve is the service and the quality of the employees. they have to learn to know how to treat a customer and leave satisfied.“

“Recently went and although the food and waiter staff were great, we were expecting what we seen on here. There was no performances. An empty space. Apparently there's a 2 hr gap between brunch and dinner. The booking site allowed for a 4pm reservation. When we arrived we were accommodated but looked at funny. We found out that brunch had ended at 3pm. I was really hoping for the full experience I seen here and paid alot and didn't get it.“

Saltenas were rich, juicy, and hearty (start at one end) and the Sopa de Mani is not at all what I expected peanut soup to taste like. think of Rich complex New England clam chowder without the clams. really no peanutty taste at all. the owner was wonderful as well“

I had the Caipirinha, and my wife ordered the Passion Fruit Lychee Martini—both were fantastic and made perfectly.

The highlight of our visit was our bartender, Ricardo. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. He took the time to explain the menu, gave great recommendations, and his service really elevated the entire experience.

It’s not often you find a place where the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere all come together this well. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be recommending Guarapo Latin Fusion to our friends and family. Thank you, Ricardo, for making our night such a great one!“

“Cute spot in the East Village to get a small bite or a coffee. I dropped in on a cold Winter day to get a warm empanada , which was a good idea . I ordered the Papa Con Queso (potatoes and cheese ) which they have to fry up fresh for you (other empanada are not fried.) There are cosy places to sit and several different sauces on the table (i liked the green herb one.) Staff are nice and the empanada was like $3.50. It was crispy and tasty - a nice snack if you're in the area .“

But the Chef did not want us to leave disappointed, he did it all (Champagne, birthday sign, food, shots) all at a discounted price. & let me tell u the food did not disappoint. It was delicious! The Wild Boar was tender, with a perfectly balanced gravy. All raged over the plantain stew! Personally the rabbit mole was to die for! Perfectly prepared meals, with quick attentive service! “I came here thinking I was going to have a modest, run of the mill quick lunch and instead I found a delicious feast in this small, pristine, uplifting atmosphere with the friendliest service and fine festive food that immediately gave a lift to my long work day! The young counter girl from Medellin that doubled as a server was as cheery and as helpful as can be. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa to get a nice melange of all that Colombia has to offer and I haven't had Colombian food this good since I was in Colombia! It was presented so delicately detailed that it was a feast for the eyes as well as the senses. I could barely finish it when the lovely hostess offered me a selection of fruity empanadas for dessert which I had to have boxed up and had my mango empanada for a delicious breakfast the next morning. “We had a private party at Havana Central. We occupied the upstairs space. We had about 40 people but the space can accommodate more The party coordinator Elaine was so helpful and accommodating. The food and drinks were amazing. The party packages were a tremendous value. The service was excellent The space was perfect-open and airy. The music was set to a perfect level so we could have conversation without having to yell. They had tv screens with the World Cup playing. The upstairs space even has a privet bar and bathroom.“
