“Very satisfied with the taste and portion size of Thai takeout from Thonglor, which may have gotten a new owner or chef since the old Red Basil? Green curry is tasty and includes nice large chunks of eggplant and bamboo shoots. Noodle dishes like pad kee mao and pad see ew have generous portion of noodles. We normally order from Pochana but have a new favorite in Thonglor, which costs slightly more but you definitely get a larger portion and good quality in return.“

We had such an amazingly simple and lush/wholesome meal that left us feeling full yet light at the same time. “Just checked out Hamido Restaurant in Astoria, Queens, and man, was I blown away! The vibe? Cozy and welcoming. The service? Quick and friendly, making you feel right at home. But what really matters - the food. Went there with my french friend, they are known to be picky about the food - even he loved it a lot. Every bite was a perfect blend of spices and freshness, making it hard to pick a favorite dish. I liked branzino, babaganush was great. Calamari wouldn't be my first choice, but they were ok, even french fries were good. Also, check out the mint lemonade, it's amazing. Good place, recommend.“
