“An Amazing Experience Thanks to Blanca!
I have to start by saying that our experience at Pasaporte in Astoria almost didn't happen! When we first arrived, we honestly considered leaving. The hostess made us feel a bit uncomfortable, simply because the table we wanted was supposedly unavailable.
But then came Blanca, and what a difference one person can make!
Blanca was absolutely AMAZING! Her kindness, professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality completely turned our experience around. She was the reason we decided to stay, and from beginning to end, her service was truly FIRST CLASS, 20/10! She is the kind of person who makes you want to return to a restaurant, not just for the food, but for the way she makes you feel.
And speaking of the food, EVERYTHING was spectacular! The croquettes were delicious, the steak chaufa rice was incredible, and the roasted chicken was absolutely divine! We even saw a fish dish being served at the table next to ours that looked so amazing we've already decided that's what we're ordering next time!
We left extremely happy with the food and, most importantly, grateful to Blanca for turning a disappointing first impression into such a wonderful dining experience.
Pasaporte has a true gem on its team, and her name is BLANCA! Employees like her deserve recognition because exceptional service truly makes all the difference.

“The food, the service, the warm attention is second to none. We live an hour away and worth the trip every time. the staff treat everyone like family. The cozy atmosphere with great music brings us back every time. Jorge, Jose, Gabby and Rosario took great care of us and were on top of their game! Thank you all for an amazing experience!“

“6.5/10 experience at Brasa Peruvian. I went on a Monday afternoon, and the place was completely empty when I walked in. There were two workers in the back, but I stood there for about 3 to 4 minutes before anyone acknowledged me or asked if I was ready to order.

I made my own bowl and ended up choosing the salmon because the chicken didn’t look too appetizing to me, and the beef looked interesting but I wanted to play it safe. The salmon was good for me because I personally like it on the drier side, but I can definitely see most people saying it was too dry. The Peruvian chili jam that was recommended wasn’t available, which was disappointing.

The spring mix tasted a little wilted, like it had been sitting out for a while. The potatoes looked good and had a nice char, but they were cold when I bit into them, which took away from it.

Overall, the meal was tasty, but for $19, I felt like it was on the expensive side for what I received. It wasn’t bad, but the service, freshness, and temperature of the food could have been much better. I’d give it a 6.5 out of 10.“

“My fiancee and I had breakfast here twice. The first time I had an attitude and didn't eat, he did and it smelled soooooooooo good. Second visit? We kissed/made up and ordered breakfast with OJ before heading Upstate for z day of skiing.“

“Best peruvian chicken in Queens in my opinion! The ribs are to die for and the green sauce is the icing on the cake. Must try ! It doesn't look like a fancy place but the food is so good. Hopefully they renovate one day to make the place the complete package.“
