“My mom's been raving about this spot, so it was our first stop in town! The decor is impeccable with beautiful, meaningful details, and the vibe is EVERYTHING. I love that they have high chairs for toddlers—many upscale places miss that mark. Our server Jerome was so helpful, and Matthew was super kind when we chatted. We tried the Montego Bay, Hugp Spritz, Rum Punch, and Island Float, and all the drinks were a 10/10! The food was also really good. I wasn't a huge fan of the trio tacos because there was minimal fried shrimp and I didn't like the plantain just sitting on top, but the flavor was amazing nonetheless, just needed more shrimp. The coconut shrimp were a 10/10, and the plantain cups are really good, they just need to be filled more.“

“I came here twice and I must say that the curry goat and fried chicken is the best. I order a medium curry goat with white rice and a side of fried chicken. 10/10. But for $26?! The issue is that you can’t really get what you want. Hear me out for example… you can’t get a small order of oxtail….like?! You can only get a medium size with a side. It’s overpriced. Just by looking at it I can tell it’s not even worth the price. Also if you get like a medium size meal with any meat and rice you can’t get it with plantain. It’s extra charge. BUT I WILL SAY THAT THE PORTION IS WORTH IT. THEY GIVE MORE. I’ve tried the Mac and cheese and it was baaaadd. Just cheese and unseasoned roux. That’s if they use roux. It’s oily and you can’t even see or smell a spec of seasoning. Taste like a sweet treat no shade. The fried chicken though I give that 15/10. Tastes better than Kennedys. The goat meat falls off the bonnnneeee. The rice is perfect; not too mushy and not too rough. I’m on my way there right now😂😂. Is it worth trying? Hell yeah. The Mac and cheese though.. that’s to your advantage.“

“Great little local spot I found on my FB timeline feed and decided to go myself for the Wednesday happy hour. I got the calamari spicy wings and coconut margarita. The wings were a little tough but very spicy the ranch dressing is definitely needed. The calamari was delicious fried to perfection with good sauce on the side, just wish they added lemon wedge. The coconut margarita was tasty with a nice buzz.“

Never been here and didn’t hear from anyone, just saw the reviews, I was close by and so what the hec, I decided to give it a try. Wow! Did not disappoint!! Ordered a large oxtails with rice & peas, unfortunately they were out of sweet plantains but the food was Deeeelicious! Yum, The rest of the food on dispuslso looked good. Yum! I loaded up on a mix of mac and cheese, fried chicken, stewed meat, shrimp, and vegetables. The mac and cheese was creamy, the chicken had a nice crispy bite, and the stewed meat was tender with good flavor.

“I absolutely love this spot! Any time I am in the Bronx I have to stop in and get my favorite curry chicken with rice(lathered in that curry gravy) and peas and cabbage😋…. My wife’s favorite dish is the oxtail with rice and peas and cabbage of course. Their fried chicken goes well with brown stew chicken gravy. I’ve had their jerk chicken, curry goat, brown stewed chicken, Mac and cheese is also really good. I have been meaning to try the salmon and their shrimp, I think that will be next.
