“I went to a family friend’s 70th birthday party they hosted in the Atlantic ballroom. The space was modern and very clean. The food was DELICIOUS!!! And the workers, Yiselle, Estrellita, and Shorty (blonde) made the event so memorable! They paid attention to every detail, whether it was filling our water cups, collecting unused plates and of course they did it all with a warm smile. They were kind, funny and very welcoming. I had a wonderful time! Thank you Yiselle, Estrellita and shorty!!!“

“I absolutely love this place. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, their food is incredible and there’s something for the whole family. I go very often when the work week gets crazy and there isn’t time to cook. Everything at Claudy’s is exceptional and taste better than a home cooked meal. I usually do take out family meal with a whole chicken and two sides. They have truly the most flavorful chicken, incredible chaufa, and I always get the yucca fries on the side. Their Aji empanadas are my go to and I love getting an 8 oz homemade green sauce. I cannot recommend enough!“

“This place is amazing to say the least! Just celebrated my daughter's 1st bday party and entrusted Chris Super Deli with the catering and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The Customer service was great, the price was awesome, and the food was perfect! So much food half the party took to go plates. How'd I get so lucky to find these guys? Will definitely be using their catering services again. 5 STARS and well deserved!“

“Alright, in this neighborhood, there aren't many Latin restaurants left, but La Reina is a mainstay for 2 reasons: 1. The food quality is always clean, plentiful, and consistent. 2. Though their prices have risen (as have every other single restaurant in this neighborhood no matter what the genre of food) they are still the most reasonable around for Latin food. Whenever I stop by they're always friendly accomodating. My favorite dish is their roast chicken, their seasoning blend is top tier. My husband is also a fan of their pernil (and I am too when I steal from his plate). I never leave without getting a hearty portion of habichuelas. Please support this business, they have a hole in the wall but they deserve an entire dining room.“

“I’ve never been , but would love to come again. Staff was billingual and I had a great lunch and it was a good piece for a lunch combo of rice bean and chicken . The chicken twist softly and the rice was soft and not overly salty or oily and just great food. They have low tables and bar. Maybe the bar stools are kinda small for other people but I liked the calm lighting too for a busy road. Good place to eat.“

“Felt like I was back in my Dominican grandmother’s kitchen. The ladies working there gave me the impression that everyone had a hand in preparing the food, and it definitely tasted homemade.

I got the pernil with rice and beans, along with some cuero, and everything was really good. The food had that comforting, home-cooked flavor that’s hard to find.

I also love their chinola juice—it’s always a must for me. Whenever I’m in the area, this is definitely one of my go-to spots.“

“The BEST food always comes from those mom and pop joints. I’ve had Dominican food in so many places, this one by far beats them all in regards to flavor and price. I been a customer for over 20 years. The meats are always marinated and seasoned to perfection. The Moro is always on point. You could eat the beans ALONE, that’s how good they are. I always get the maduros and potato salad as sides to complete the meals. I highly recommend this place but in regards to location, this is the hood so come early in the daytime and bring CASH. My only suggestion would be for the servers to be more fluent in English, as well as Spanish. I totally enjoyed the food. It was fresh and plentiful, nice portion sizes. They also have a Happy Hour, and the drinks were also good. The only damper to my dining experience was the erroneous charge put on the bill, classified as Dining Entertainment. (18%) I asked about it and the explanation that was provided left me wondering who benefited from the additional charge. This charge was imposed on just two people dining, which left a bitter taste to my also perfect experience. In the future I will tip according to the service I received or find another eatery.“
