“I’m certain that most people who drive by this corner / intersection have a hard time understanding why it’s around noon and there’s a line of about 50 people waiting for a food truck to open for business, me included. But take my word for it as soon you take the first bite and your taste buds take a swim in all those authentic Puerto Rican flavors / seasonings you will fully understand and long line. This is food porn at it’s best, both in flavor and presentation. If you’ve been searching for that old school grandma’s kitchen recipe experience you’ve come to the right place. Unfortunately unless you were raised in puerto rico or as a kid spent a lot of time at grandma’s house, a plate of arroz con gandules, pernil, camarones, ensalada de pulpo, accompanied by a healthy serving of perfectly cooked pork shoulder, not to mention the crunchy skin and the burnt ends accompanied by some home made garlic sauce you get as a bonus may not make sense to you, but is a mixture of deliciousness that you will not forget.“

My daughter loved their food and loved their potatoes in their stew chicken and they made my daughter feel special by giving her extra while eating and to take home . Felt like I was with family. “Alright, in this neighborhood, there aren't many Latin restaurants left, but La Reina is a mainstay for 2 reasons: 1. The food quality is always clean, plentiful, and consistent. 2. Though their prices have risen (as have every other single restaurant in this neighborhood no matter what the genre of food) they are still the most reasonable around for Latin food. Whenever I stop by they're always friendly accomodating. My favorite dish is their roast chicken, their seasoning blend is top tier. My husband is also a fan of their pernil (and I am too when I steal from his plate). I never leave without getting a hearty portion of habichuelas. Please support this business, they have a hole in the wall but they deserve an entire dining room.“

“Willie's Steak House has Salsa Dancing Fridays and Saturdays. Food is regular The Barmaid Mariana is very professional and a hard worker knows how to treat her customers without her the bar is not the same.“

The place has karaoke and people were dancing or singing. It’s a great environment to spend or celebrate. This is not the first time I have been there with friends from work to celebrate an event. “Great food and service. Just moved here in the area and all I want is Spanish good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything’s well done and juicy! (Pause) I recommend boneless chicken, white rice, red beans and salad. In the morning mungu, cheese, salami and eggs or a sandwich.“
