“This was our first time here. We were treated well. We hade the three course meal with appetizers, entree, and desserts. I had the grill cheese and tomato soup; it was delicious! My entree was the Cajun chicken and that did not disappoint me either. The dessert the chocolate espresso mousse was delightful with its gold flakes. My husband’s food salmon tartare, lobster ravioli, and biscotti cheesecake was delicious too. I got to taste my food and his. We will be coming back!“

Cafe Busy, long lines but it moves.
Staff friendly, helpful, prices ( it is what it is!! ) so be prepared & enjoy the gardens.

“Let me start with parking. Found a spot at the entrance. No meters! Immediately seated and ordered a Cuban and ribs. Just the right amount of meat and pickle. Ribs fell off the bone. BUT PLEASE lets talj about the beer, after all, this is an ale house with 16 selections: I drank one, then sampled 3 and selected amongst those.
The staff is small but well oiled. This is FIFA (SPAIN VS AUSTRIA). More and more guests are arriving - the bar is almost full yet service moves.

“I highly recommend Vibes Kitchen on East Gun Hill Road in the Bronx! A special shout-out to Chef Andre for catering my sister’s Home Going service repast. During such a difficult time, he provided exceptional delicious food and service that brought comfort to our family and guests.

The food was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The jerk chicken was perfectly seasoned, the curry goat was tender and flavorful, the fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and delicious, and the ackee and saltfish was authentic and well prepared. The Escovitch fish was outstanding, the rice and beans and spinach rice were cooked to perfection, the fried plantains were sweet and delicious, and the freshly steamed vegetables were the perfect complement to the meal.

Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful everything tasted. Thank you, Chef Andre and the entire Vibes Kitchen team, for your professionalism, kindness, and for helping make my sister’s celebration of life so memorable. She was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything, even though it was extremely busy and there were only two of them handling everything. Rosario was behind the bar and did a great job as well.
