“I highly recommend Vibes Kitchen on East Gun Hill Road in the Bronx! A special shout-out to Chef Andre for catering my sister’s Home Going service repast. During such a difficult time, he provided exceptional delicious food and service that brought comfort to our family and guests.

The food was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The jerk chicken was perfectly seasoned, the curry goat was tender and flavorful, the fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and delicious, and the ackee and saltfish was authentic and well prepared. The Escovitch fish was outstanding, the rice and beans and spinach rice were cooked to perfection, the fried plantains were sweet and delicious, and the freshly steamed vegetables were the perfect complement to the meal.

Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful everything tasted. Thank you, Chef Andre and the entire Vibes Kitchen team, for your professionalism, kindness, and for helping make my sister’s celebration of life so memorable. Your outstanding food and exceptional service were truly appreciated, and our family is forever grateful.“

The owner saw us talking outside and came to greet us and offer us outdoor seating since the indoor seating was getting cleared up for the influx of customers! Set the tables and chairs up himself, super nice dude. Bartender was also incredibly nice, alot of funny signs outside lol Overall a great experience. Makes good margaritas that came in a cute Mason jar glass for $14. Had me pleasantly buzzed. 10/10 drinks and hospitality.“

“Talk about the best Jamaica restaurant in the Northeast Bronx. Whatever is on the menu, it’s finger licking. Good customer service . Fast service , you will be in and out .. They give you a lot of oxtail gravy lol . The steam fish , fry chicken and oxtail is a must when you go there .“

“I have been this for a little while and the food is great. The chicken is a1 and fries as well. Also the chciken over rice tatses amazing espcially with the white south and hot sauce it is a good combo. The ice cream slection is also good and at the time of this review they got this rainbow colored ice cream like they got at the iceies carts. I go there every time i'm craving chicken over rice and chicken nice fast and tasty“

Never been here and didn’t hear from anyone, just saw the reviews, I was close by and so what the hec, I decided to give it a try. Wow! Did not disappoint!! Ordered a large oxtails with rice & peas, unfortunately they were out of sweet plantains but the food was Deeeelicious! Yum, The rest of the food on dispuslso looked good. Yum! Great spot and service was superb. If you’re in the area or just want some slamming Jamaican food, stop at Flamez and enjoy! You’re welcome lol

“Higher prices than other similar restaurants yet the service and quality make up for it. The place is nice and has a bar with a lot of food options. Breakfasts best plate is Mangu with morir soñando and lunch would be Oxtail with rice,beans with a small salad

The service was impeccable and I felt absolutely uplifted in every manor that I could have been after eating here. Highly recommend. Prior to my experience here, my hunger felt insatiable, but soon I was engulfed in the wonderfulness of the chicken.
