The owner has a consistent update of “specials” but really they need to update the decor and tables and floor- it is not visually appealing to come to this establishment. My friends never want to join me here for this reason.

I live around the corner and come here A LOT. Have been a consistent patron for 6 years now. The execution of *most* dishes are better than you’d expect. I dine in regularly and know the friendly staff. The hours are open later than other places which is perfect after a night of partying.“

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“Nudibranch was incredible. Food, cocktails, vibes and service were all genuinely 10/10. The crab tteokbokki was one of the best dishes we had all trip.

The whole team was so warm and welcoming, and you can really feel how much they care about the overall experience. A very special spot. Can’t wait to come back.“

“After a cold and windy morning, not being able to get into one of the morning shows, we ran across this little restaurant by accident for brunch. They quickly welcomed us in with open arms and fresh hot coffee. It was one of the best brunches I've ever had, but what made it even more special was Joey the owner overheard our story, knowing we had a rough morning, and gifting us one of his comfort food cookbooks! “Reservations highly recommended since it’s a small spot. Every dish was honestly great, so excited to go back to try their other stuff, but the beef longganisa and ube ko achar I would def order again in a heartbeat. The sauce for the gnocchi and the skewer were 10/10. Also, their Green Leaf drink with pandan - SO GOOD.

My favorite desserts are literally silvanas and cheese ice cream, so it’s def their own version of these classic Filipino desserts, but satisfied with how they interpreted them.

“Had a wonderful brunch today at Hudson Clearwater. The smoothie was outstanding. This is a quaint rustic spot and deserves all the love for their vegan friendly menu. I chose the blackened fish sandwich and it did not disappoint. The Cole slaw on the brioche bun, lightly covered with tarter sauce, made for a perfect sandwich. Their fries were delectable as well. The prix fixe brunch menu was absolutely fantastic. Every course was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The real standout - the bloody marys. I'm not exaggerating when I say they were the best any of us have ever had. Whatever they're doing with their recipe, it's perfection. And they had ~5 to choose from.
What truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service. One of our friends was running quite late, which we knew would impact their kitchen turnover, but the staff was incredibly gracious and accommodating about it. They made us feel welcome rather than rushed, which speaks volumes about their hospitality.

Their Dutch baby “Primadonna” pancake and lobster roll are to die for. Much of what is on the menu it’s imported from Italy of the finest ingredients. It’s always fun to take the ferry across from Manhattan to the Pepsi Cola Sign and walk a couple of blocks. They can accommodate large groups, children, pets, wheelchairs, (you name it) at their outdoor seating. Run there. 😊💕“

We started with the tots & caviar, which was like McDonald hash browns on steroids and the tuna cannolis (also on the smaller side but undeniably delicious). We got the duck ravioli which had a great balance of umami and acidity (the ravioli itself was cooked to perfection). We also were lucky enough to finesse the off menu truffle burger, which is easily an S tier burger (same level as lions bar and better than a PJ Clark’s - steakhouse style, not smashed) Fries were unreal. The dirty Martin’s (w/blue cheese olives) were also perfection and the Cali cab to wash it all down was equally delectable. 10/10. Great food, ambiance, and service. Will be back.“

Old school, traditional recipes with a twist of new flare. Mikey is a wizard for creating his cocktails. I had the pleasure of trying two of them that he created after thinking about them for 12 years and I highly recommend them the Garlic Gibson and the Bitter tree, both are amazing. Allen, who is the chef and owner and named this quaint little place after his dad will delight you with his specialties my Sister and I had the mushroom hummus. “Lingo was the perfect choice for a special celebration. I brought my daughter here and the night was great. It’s a beautiful space, genuinely warm and personable staff, and excellent Japanese-inflected food with a creative twist.

We did have one miss: the ribs were too fatty for our taste. But here's where Lingo service stepped in. Without any fuss, they took the dish off the bill and were so gracious about it. That kind of hospitality is rare and says a lot about how they run their restaurant.

Everything else was delicious and the vibe was just right for a celebratory dinner. I'll absolutely be back.“

“Our party of 4 has thoroughly enjoyed our tasting menu. Our waiter was super attentive to our needs, switching dishes to accommodate vegetarian and other requests. Dishes were timed perfectly as well as the wine pairing. The space is beautiful with very high ceiling. Only wish the table next to me could be a little more considerate. One guy had this sudden jarring guffaw that startled me a few times since he was sitting next to me.“
