“First time coming in and we will definitely be returning. Delicious gluten free options and nice variety of other quality items on menu. Francisco was super friendly and attentive and everything was timed perfectly for our early Sunday dinner. Great for both food sensitive eater and adventurous eater.Dietary restrictions: They accommodate gluten free and vegan eaters“
“Went for brunch and it was great. The ambiance is perfect, and the food was delicious! The coffee was amazingly good too, I had decaf and my husband has iced coffee. For food, I had french toast and my husband the chicken sandwich. They deserve more than a 4.4!! Mimosas were included too.“
“I have been going to G's for over 20 years. The food is excellent. I love the breakfast burrito with chorizo, and their tortas, and their flautas. Everything thing is outstanding. They make great coffee The service is awesome. Very nice.“
“I love this place. The chipotle chicken sandwich is amazing. The service is excellent. Humble interior, delicious food (try the wake and bake burger that has an egg and a hash brown) and reasonably priced. The servers have a great energy and are quick. As a local, I’d recommend this place to anyone around the area.“
“I went here for lunch on a week day with a friend. The staff immediately helped us with the door because I'm in a wheelchair. The place was pretty empty except for a group of old men in their seventies and eighties. I ordered the veal meatballs and the fig and goat cheese flatbread which was exquisite. They have a fantastic drink menu and their service is impeccable!“
“Had Easter brunch with daughter and family last Sunday. A group of 6 including 2 grand kids (3 & 2) who enjoyed their pancakes. We had tuna tartar, octopus and thai salad for appetizers and they were all all excellent. For main, had the salmon, crab cake benedict and more. Overall food was great especially the octopus. No complaints on service and atmosphere. Definitely would come back.“
“Have you ever found a gem and never wanted to share it? Lol, that's how I feel about Clay. Talk about perfect setting, food, and service. Absolutely stunning place in the heart of Harlem. Cool neighborhood, too. Highly recommend. Plan ahead because there could be a wait to get a reservation. Love this place.“
“The best spot to hang out at in the UWS!! I have had the best martinis here, some of my fav fried chicken sliders and the tastiest shishito peppers ever. You can’t go wrong with any drink and whether it’s the weekend or a nice weekday celebration this is the most fun spot to chill at.We just celebrated our law school first semester here and it was awesome!!Vegetarian options: Great eggplant appetizer that’s fully vegan!! So creamy and great sides for it!!!Dietary restrictions: Some of my besties are vegan/vegetarian and they love this spot!!“
“This restaurant have amazing Mediterranean food, I tried the scallops with a glass of Minutolo Banco, was the perfect pairing and my husband haved pasta! The atmosphere was nice. Also, I notice they have breakfast, so for sure I’ll come back for the breakfast ?“
“OMG! I think I just found my favorite restaurant in NYC! Massive shout out to TOMAS! Who made tonight's dinner so special. The lamb, brussel sprouts, and the corn soup were phenomenal! Archer and Goat is the restaurant we've been looking for a long time - great food, great vibe, all at a reasonable price point. We can't wait to come back!!“
“I realize this is arguably damming with faint praise, but clearly the best restaurant in Yonkers/Western Westchester county below the Cuomo bridge. High quality ingredients, well-prepared. Excellent service plus a nice view of the water -- at least before dark. Compares favorably to some of the better Manhattan restaurants. To be sure, is it as good as say, Le Bernardin or Jean Georges? Of course not. But you'll get a first-class dining experience for probably half the price, without the hassle of traffic and parking.“
“Lovely food. A beautiful Steinway B piano (and stunning pianist Lex Korten on Oct.8, 2023) Make sure if you are a party of 4 or 6 that you can get 2 or 3 tables together in the 3 main long lines of tables, No good option for party of 5. No refunds for persons who cannot make the show, for any reason only a future credit. Even with ear plugs I found the amplification disheartening for such an intimate space, and we were as far from the stage as we could get.“
“Had lunch here on a Wednesday with my aunts. Seafood dishes were delicious. The hot chocolate was ok, a little too sweet for us, but not as rich as we expected. The staff was nice and attentive without being over-bearing. Fine atmosphere for conversation. Would highly recommend for well-prepared foods, excellent service, and relaxing atmosphere.“
“I live in the neighborhood and all the restaurants in this street have loud music during the week which imposes a lack of conversation and chilling out when you’re having a drink or an appetizer and a restaurant and restaurants now unfortunately have loud music and it makes you feel stressed and uncomfortable not being able to enjoy yourself having a drink and listening to your thoughts. So I’ve discovered this is a place if you want to chill out atmosphere with great drinks, a great bartender and the music is out of lab where you can actually have a conversation not only with the service staff but with other people next year, so I recommend it’s not only for happy hour during the week and such.“
“Alright, now ! If you’re looking to have a decent fast food healthy meal … field trip is your spot. I’ll keep it super real and admit the rice may not be cooked to everyone’s standards but I personally enjoy the black rice with the veggies that comes with the salmon bowl. Flavor wise the shrimp bowl is my favorite with coconut curry sauce and chili peppers ??, the salmon bowl and the braised beef are really filling too.Now what steals the show each and every time for me is the CRAB POCKETS Made with blue crab, garlic and herb cream cheese, ginger and scallion … amazing !“
“Food was good. The service was not. Our waitress did not smile much. She was playing with her cell phone when I approached to the service desk with computer and other billing stuff. She name starts with a C.I observed how she treated other customers, she was not warm nor smile either. I told myself, it was not me.“
“This place is really different. I love the Vinyl when you come in. The hostess was pleasant and told us to wait at the bar. The bartender immediately came over and showed us how to scan the cocktail menu. The atmosphere is young and loud. The table service was amazing. The young lady who attended us made accommodations for us without a fuss. The food was good. The Sangria was flowing. Did not feel rushed. All in all a great experience. I live in South Jersey but I would definitely come back!!!❤️❤️❤️“
“One of my favorite places on the UWS, Morningside Heights. Dining here for years now and always have a great meal! Food always fresh, delicious and the staff is great. I do enjoy the 72nd Street and Central Park location but I’ll always love the original.“
“The food is good the prices are affordable the atmosphere is welcoming good if you wanna have a good time while eating the music is always a vibe with the live DJ! The service is good you get ya food in a reasonable amount of time the staff is friendly!“
“Amazing service by the staff at Sweet Grass Grill. I was able to visit for lunch and pictured the blood orange margarita, mushroom cheesesteak and chicken sandwich with the kale Caesar. Their beet ketchup was truly amazing. Everything was delicious. The service was super attentive even with a busy lunch rush during the week. Reservations are recommended. Stop by at Sweet Grass for a quick meal and leave feeling satisfied. Looking forward to stopping by again“
“This place is the best spot in uptown great food, beautiful eating area with an excellent service . I love this place since they open in our neighborhood is a family owned business that will exceed anyone's expectations if you can't afford traveling to Peru like me this restaurant is the closest thing to it. I highly recommend this place unbelievable Peruvian cuisine ceviche and lomo salteado taco Tuesday is a most . Affordable $$“
“Great neighborhood bistro in Washington Heights. Staff is very professional and friendly, bartenders are on their A game, and the bar has a great selection, especially the tap list. Menu has something for everyone and the food is excellent. I go to trivia hosted by Uptown Pub Quiz on Wednesdays whenever I can, but they have great events on other nights throughout the week that bring the most fun people in the neighborhood out.“
“They do not sell food, beer and wine only. They make a mean frozen sangria! I never have a problem getting a seat and the bartender remembered me! Cool spot.Wheelchair accessibility: You can get into the market, there are no stairs. It might be a little difficult to navigate once inside. The spaces between the different vendors can be narrow.“
“Ill Fresco has it all going for it. Great ambience, great service and really good food. My shrimp parm was as good as I can remember ever having it. My wife's homemade pasta with chicken was delicious. This will earn a coveted spot on our dining rotation.“
“The place is nice, we went to eat but they closed the kitchen at 10 and we arrived at 10:15 but we stayed to drink in the bar area and it gets cool. The drinks are more than 20 and for me it's not worth it. alcohol but it's nice to turn around“
“I am a City Island resident and I find thw Black Whale to be a gem on the island. Their eclectic manu has many excellent choices. Amoung my favorites are the cuban sandwich (excellent marinated pernil), the chicken cordon bleu (the sauce is to die for), the penne ala vodka and the lobster oreganata. It has a welcoming and cozy atmosphere far from the noisy drunken crouds in many other spots on the island. The staff is attentive and friendly.“
“Aries birthday celebrations continued this last Saturday evening, 30th March, at the fabulous KEE Oyster House in White Plains. Upon entering we were warmly greeted and taken care of the entire time. We began with Sonoma Saint Francis Chardonnay, with a splendid array of plump East Coast Oysters, an order of delicious Oysters Rockefeller, and hubs enjoyed his yummy New England clam chowder as he did in 2019. Entrees of: Blackened Tuna with Lime sauce, a silky Grilled Salmon Filet Beurre Blanc with pearls of Salmon Roe, and a large Caesar Salad with grilled Chicken strips. Happy Birthdays sung at dessert with an assortment of Tiramisu, Vanilla Ice Cream and Key Lime Tart. Let's make a wish! Lovely ambience + Wishing all a Hoppy Easter too! :) Thank you for reading“
“Family dinner for Thanksgiving was outstanding. Set menu complete from appetizer to dessert. Really good choices and food was delicious. Nice ambiance in main dining room. The servers were excellent. Food service pacing was not rushed giving you time to enjoy. I would definitely recommend and look forward to returning in future.“
“Great little pub with an old school local vibe. Burgers and wings are very good. The wings are on the larger side so if you're more into the smaller wings with less meat on the bone you may not love them.My kids love the pizza. I'm a little more neutral on it due to the crust leaning a little towards a "store bought" type. But the sauce and toppings are spot on.The employees are great across the board. They all seem to enjoy working there vs just "having a job". Good place to hang with some friends or eat with the family.Parking: Depending on the time of day can be a little challenging.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly in the dining room for sure. The bar area has high tops but I wouldn't say that space is kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Not the easiest to access for people with disabilities.“
“We had an amazing dinning experience at Otto’s. Not only was the food scrumptious, but the service team was also impeccable. They really went above and beyond to make our whole experience unforgettable. Our server William and his helper were attentive, accommodating and made our night of celebrations a special one. We will definitely be back!“
“Great food and a serious historical location. Chateaubriand was top notch. Dessert torte was likewise excellent. Staff was friendly. My only complaint was the live music was too loud. I'm a musician and would never have my levels that high. Was difficult to have a conversation.“
“I celebrated my birthday with my family here yesterday. I can't praise everyone enough for the kindness, attentiveness and attention to detail. Mary had taken my information on the phone and all was prepared when we arrived. Her greeting and treatment of us made my guests think we were special indeed despite my never having met her before. My husband is in a wheelchair and special attention was paid to where we were seated so that all were comfortable. The table, near the front window, was spacious and comfortable with wonderful lighting. The food was excellent as it always is. We had two of the special appetizers, the asparagus soup and the artichokes which were very good. For dessert, management provided a chocolate bread pudding with a candle which we proceeded to devour. Didn't have time to take a picture, because we ate it so fast. By prearrangement, the bill never came. Mary simply pressed the receipt into my hand as she handed me my take "home bag". My children were truly surprised by the seamless exchange. They had planned to treat 5 stars are inadequate for this restaurant.“
“I can’t say enough good things about Modern on the Rails for my daughter’s bridal shower brunch. I had great feedback on the venue and the delicious food. The staff was attentive and so helpful, my guest’s drinks as well as the buffet selections were constantly filled. The atmosphere is unique and so pretty with exposed brick and beautiful chandeliers. I. borrowed their cart to do a bouquet bar that turned out to be a hit with everyone. The shower was everything the bride to be had hoped for. Thank you to Lori, John, Julianna and Kevin for making this an stress-free, perfect day for us.“
“Truly a gem in Harlem. Great lunch for a ridiculously low price. A cocktail was even included in the price of a burger! The live jazz music made this a fantastic experience. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Harlem!Vegetarian options: I had a black bean vegetarian burger and it was amazingly tasty“
“We have been here 4 times and have never experienced anything but great food, great service. It's small but but has its advantages such as attentive service, cozy atmosphere. Joe and Amid are incredible as they totally understand service is the game and they are superstars at it. It's a must try.“
“The waiter we had was on point ! Even suggested we request songs cause he saw we was having a good time ! That was nice of him ! Love the rum punch drinks ! Only thing is we waited alittle cause all the hostess & waitress was smoking hookah at the back ?“
“It had been awhile since we went to Wild Goose, and i am regretting all those meh dinners where i could have been thrilled. The food was unexpected and delicious! Thr service friendly and knowledgeable. Loved everything. Can't wait to go back.“
“Fantastic space with a lively, upscale, upbeat atmosphere. Welcoming, energetic vibe on a Saturday night. We've been there twice with a party of 6, and the food has been excellent both times. The veal chop... to die for! Wonderful service the 1st time. Everything was perfect. It was just ok last week, at best. But they were super busy and perhaps short-handed. In any event, there was an automatic 20% tip applied to the bill, so perhaps the server didn't care to give it her personal best. Still, we'll definitely return and recommend Roost.“
“This is our go to place since they opened nearly 20 yrs ago. The owners Eduardo & June are such lovely people and his cooking has stayed true to the quality and maintain good service from the start. If we can't make it in, we get delivery, hands down the fastest and delicious.“
“I recently visited this place when my brother and I could not get in afew days before. It is a good place with a few options, even though the menu is slightly limited. However, this more of a place to drink than eat. Only problem with this place is that it is only open 5 hours (5pm to 10pm) everyday sonforget about getting brunch or lunch. As a result of that prices are up a little. Overall though, it is a good experience. It is worth the visit.“
“I just wanna say if you don’t have SANDY as your waiter you are missing in out! Her energy is so good she is so nice she is one of the best waiters I have ever had all the food was delicious Sandy I wish you the best your amazing love to eat here burgers and onion rings are “
“The atmosphere is a bar/club but the food is way better than that. I loved the vibe, music, and the food. The only downside was my Mama's Chicken sandwich; I wished the chicken was an actual thick juicy fried chicken breast sandwich but instead is a pounded out thin piece which made it very dry. My wife's curry rice, chicken dish however, was very good as was my lobster bisque. The DJ was great and played some great dance music.“
“I tried this place out many years ago and never returned. Don't remember disliking it but was never top of mind. Got tired of the local diner and finally decided to see what they had going on. So far we've been back twice in two weeks! Tried for breakfast and got the croissant sandwich with bacon. Very tasty but a little overpriced in my opinion but I get it--inflation, blah, blah, blah. Next time we checked them out for brunch and were very pleased. They have a very cute patio in the back so I will definitely return in the summer time. Also, $5 mimosas during brunch and they were perfect ratio. Highly recommend.“
“I ordered on Ubereats and wanted to say thank you for wrapping the sandwiches in foil to keep them warm!!! Everything was hot and fresh which has never happened for me :) they have great vegan options and the staff acknowledges what is vegan and what isn’t. One time I ordered onion rings and said I was vegan and they wrote a kind note letting me know they weren’t vegan but still sent the food which I appreciated. Atmosphere at the location is super cozy as well !!“
“Black Cat Cafe was awesome! Came in just as they were opening on a Sunday morning with my 2 year old. Service was great, and the person working was very accommodating of the young kid. Highly recommend getting breakfast here and then checking out the framers market just up the hill. Parent pro-tip, the Ivington location for the farmers market is right next to a playground.Kid-friendliness: I'm definitely calling this one kid friendly. They even had some toys on hand. Also, other patrons were not put off by the presence of a young kid.“
“Nice atmosphere and food. Staff were pleasant and capable but clearly over extended. I felt bad for them. We had to wait to be seated at our table and didn't get our food or drinks for 45 minutes. When we eventually got our food some dishes were not very hot, like they'd been sitting for a while. I had called in advance to confirm that we'd have enough time to make our 8pm ticket time for the Orchid Show but we didn't get out of the restaurant until 8:30pm, which was disappointing. We would have had dessert if there had been time, but we were already 30 mins late. I would eat here again but would allow a lot more time for my meal.“
“Plates Catering recently catered my wedding reception on 6/17/23 in the White Plains area, and I have nothing but great things to say about my experience.Matt and his team at Plates Catering are consummate professionals and genuinely great people. They were extremely helpful and responsive when it came to figuring out how best to execute our desired menu according to our scale and budget, as well as guiding us through all necessary steps and considerations for our event's set up--at moments even putting in a little extra time beyond what we had originally contracted them for. The attention to detail put into the food and its presentation was evident long before it was even ready to serve, which really played a huge part in bringing this very special day together for myself, my spouse, and my beloved guests. At every step of the process, Plates was fully committed to making our event one that our guests would not forget. Most importantly, the food was absolutely spectacular: our guests repeatedly sang its praises, long after serving time had wrapped up.I would without a doubt turn to Plates again for any future events, and they would be the first choice I would recommend to anyone looking for an excellent caterer in the area (and honestly as far as they would be willing to work within the Tri-State area). Give them a call, you won't regret it!“
“A must go on Gun Hill Road for Jerk Chicken. I was not disappointed, very favorable and tasty. Some place say they are great a jerk chicken but are not, but this is well done and very friendly staff. I came at closing by accident and the associate stopped me from leaving and just simply asked what was I planning on getting and further told me to wait and got my order taken care off.The location has outside eating and inside standing. It’s at the corner, and near a bus lane, so watch out where you park, but there is a lot of areas to park.Food was so good, it’s not my late night spot for Rice and Peas, and Jerk Chicken.I like the aesthetic and color tone. They could do a better job advertising the menu, and display of food, but overall I had a good experience and treated very well. If you don’t believe me, go and buy a nice small or medium jerk chicken and rice and peas.“
“Great place!!! We came in for a family function, and I was pleasantly surprised. We live in the area and never stoped in. This is a hidden gem! This place has a nice old school bar, some high top tables and regular tables as well. In the back of the building there is a second smaller bar so this place is great for having a party. The menu has a lot to choose from, portions are generous and food tasted delicious. Valentina was extremely friendly and attentive. We will return to this spot more often.“
“The atmosphere and service was fantastic, as usual. I must say, the food was not as tasty as previous visits to Underhill. Both the pork chop and roasted chicken (usually my favorite) entrees were dry and skimpy and the salad as a starter was tiny. We definitely got hit with a dose of "shrinkflation".“
