181 Cabrini Reviews
We are definitely biased, but Wednesday night at 8 is a great time to enjoy the roasted Brussels sprouts, burgers, salads, and Pub Quiz. The staff are wonderful and the regulars are very welcoming.
Great local spot with delicious food. Staff are very friendly!!
Ordered medium rare burger no bun. It came on a bun. Also the menu says beef and nothing about stuff in it, and the texture was past medium on the exterior and like less cooked but brown in the middle, and contained some kind of herb mixture as well as bits of chopped up what looks like onion or garlic. Not sure what else is in it. It should be billed as meatloaf rather than a beef burger. The bartender is lovely though, very welcoming and friendly and great service

181 Cabrini is a beloved Manhattan spot known for its delicious food, particularly the schnitzel with mashed potatoes, and a solid beer selection, including IPAs. The restaurant has an old-fashioned decor with a stylish touch that adds character throughout, even extending to the toilets which are nicely designed. The menu is interesting, and most dishes exceed expectations, making it one of the best restaurants in the neighborhood. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with engaging conversations often happening at the bar and a fitting soundtrack in the background. The food and coffee are always satisfying, and the clean, freshly stocked bathroom shows the establishment's attention to detail. It's a hidden gem, popular among local residents, especially for trivia nights on Wednesdays, when the friendly staff, including James and Jasmin, create a welcoming community. Recent reviews highlight the enjoyable brunch, with huevos rancheros being highly recommended, and note that the bacon can be very crispy, so asking for it softer is advised. The restaurant is also appreciated for its excellent service and a cozy, nostalgic vibe that reminds some visitors of a bodega from past days.
