“Today, my family, and I went here with a family friend. Along side with her granddaughter. We got all of this well made food. I am not exactly sure how much it all cost. As my family friend paid for everything. My family and I definitely plan to come back.“

“If you're looking for some of the best Dominican food in the US, it's here - down a few steps, in this pool hall. Everything was delicious, and I absolutely loved the habichuelas (beans). The gallina was tender to the point it was falling off the bone, and the rice was fluffy and full of flavor. This is truly a place where you can taste the love.“

“Tilila's experience was amazing as a first timer! Food was amazing, would recommend the chimi sandwich with the chips. Service was great, just be more communicative with the staff at night so they won't think you left. Atmosphere is amazing!“

“Had a really great experience here from the moment I walked in. Everyone was genuinely friendly and welcoming, which immediately made the place feel comfortable instead of rushed or overly formal.

I actually came in looking for a specific dish that had been recommended to me, but I completely forgot the name of it. The staff member helping me was incredibly patient and helpful while we tried to figure it out, and they ended up pointing me in the right direction without making me feel awkward about it at all.

The food itself ended up being excellent. Everything looked fresh and well prepared, and the flavors matched the presentation. You could tell care went into both how the meal was made and how it was served. It had that balance of being satisfying and flavorful without feeling overly heavy.

What stood out most was how easy and pleasant the whole experience felt. Good food is important, but friendly service like that is what really makes a place memorable and makes people want to return. Definitely somewhere I’d come back to again.“

Was here with David and Lukas on a Wednesday afternoon from about 3PM to around 8PM and we had 6 coronas each while watching the world cup. The beers came out to around just over $4 per bottle. “I’ve ordered the food from here several times and though I’ve never physically seen the place the food usually tastes the same and I enjoy that consistency. Prices are good. The 13 dollar rotisserie is cool. I like the pernil and chicken chicharron, the potato salad is a great price and you get a nice amount. Only one time out of at least a dozen times the potato salad was sour and the mayonnaise was not fresh. The following day it was not edible. Other than that I’ve always had pretty decent experience.“

I usually visit at night, and Wendy is typically my server — she’s always attentive, friendly, and makes sure everything is perfect.

“Half of the space is setup as a dance place. Romantic lighting, a bar, and dance music. It seemed very nice if that's what you want. But the music was very loud- if you were just there to eat. The food is delicious and the staff is extremely nice and professional.“

“Ordered the family meal with bistec encebollado which my family loved, the white rice could have been better, there was a staple on the bottom of the rice, I am to assume they were grappling and one flew to the tin, not a big deal the family loved the food.

I ordered a mofongo de cerdo, it was not the best; the pork had rib pieces (which I have never had pork like this with mofongo) and the meat was
burnt beyond being edible, I wish the mofongo was more garlicky, the sauce was yummy but again the burnt pieces of pork was somewhat disappointing. If you are a monfingo enthusiast, please do not get your hopes up.

“So, I came here because I was craving some Dominican chicken soup. They didn't have it ready when I went but it's fine. I ended up ordering the tripe soup. The soup was quite tasty and had a generous amount of vegetables. I had no problems placing the order and found the staff very pleasant and welcoming. It probably doesn't hurt to speak decent Spanish, but honestly, if you're in New York, speaking a little Spanish is helpful. Prices were fair and service was fast. All in all, I would recommend eating here.

Parking: Parking is a little difficult here, but what can you do?“

“I always wanted to try so I finally did. The chicken was soo good. I just wish they gave more wasakaka sauce. I had to ask for one instead of getting it automatically with my order. And they only gave one which isn’t enough for me to enjoy my chicken with. The plantains were good as well. Some were still undercooked I wish they fried it a bit longer . But other than that the chicken and plantains were pretty good🤤🤤“

“Everything is price high here but for the most part food is good, busser are great, to go staff- great. But Servers hit or major miss. Restaurants is kept up well. Bathroom always has a small issue (no oaper, ,no hand towels, toilet doesn't flush,or toilet is leaking) but staff tends to it quickly once you make them aware.
Chicken is definitely a very good staple here more than other Malecon restaurants.“
