“the restaurant is good, it is about one or two years old and the food is very good. The only bad thing is the employees who are unprofessional and unfriendly. On the menu they always have a lot of variety of food, they make rice, beans, pork, beef, chicken, fish, salads, soups, for dinnin in and delivery. I live like 8 blocks away and every time l call to order it always arrives super fast in less than 20 minutes… they cook low in fat and are very clean. the only thing they have to improve is the service and the quality of the employees. they have to learn to know how to treat a customer and leave satisfied.“

“Great food and great service. The food reminds me of home and is reasonably priced. We keep coming back for the ox tail stew, ribs, beef steak, porkchops, dumplings and the boneless chicharonnes de pollo. Most meals are served with white or yellow rice and beans or vegetables. If you want to try something different, they have the beef liver and squid ink fried rice which remind me of squid ink Paella. The combination meals are a great option to try out different dishes. The staff and owners always greet you with a warm welcome.“

“When I tell you this is real authentic dominican food, it was amazing. The absolute best ive had in a long time. From the meals to the drinks to the decor and music everything was phenomenal. I took my family after a graduation and I cant wait to go back.“

“We were supposed to eat at another restaurant, Anny, but when we got there, they informed us that they would only accept cash. Yet there was no ATM. We started walking on 116th, looking for an ATM. Instead, we found this place to eat. It's a buffet style place with only one booth style table. The best thing was that the food was good and the price was right.“

“Great portions! The pernil and pollo guisado are my favorite. I’ve ordered lunch plates to stay, take out platters for group dinners, and catering orders for a party. They give such great portions. The catering orders are of course freshly made, but the lunch and take out are from the ready made trays in the store and the chicken and pernil are so tender and delicious.“

“Food was amazing and such a home like atmosphere. Some of the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced. Cliffside park has a gem with this place. Please come visit and I HIGHLY recommend the chimi. Prices are great especially cause of inflation but the quality is insane, food is so good they let us sample so many things. I wish you guys could smell how good it smells in here too. PLEASE TRY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD IT WAS FIRE LOL.“

“I’m Puerto Rican and when I’m feeling homesick (often lately) I come in for a feast. Best rotisserie chicken, perfect seasoning, tasty crispy skin. Arroz con gandules is my favorite but the congris (black bean rice) is a close second. Also, I have a severe gluten allergy and have never had an issue! Love this place!“

My husband and I come from long island as often as we can now because we have never been disappointed with all the food we bought. “We went to Tropical Sensation to celebrate the grand opening of Athena's World Travel. We had a group of 6 people and all 6 of us agree that everything about our experience was wonderful. The atmosphere was great. Our server, Sharmaine, was amazing. The food was delicious. That was our first time at the restaurant and we plan to go back again and again. There were so many great items on the menu at affordable prices. The portions were very generous.“

“Bridge Coffee Shop is one of those places where you don't so much look at the menu as you have a back and forth with the person behind the steam table about what's good today. Not an introvert's paradise. I ordered the baked chicken with rice for $10. They give you about a quarter of a chicken and I made the rookie mistake of not asking for dark meat so I did have to power through a pretty dry breast situation.“

The food here is consistently flavorful, fresh, and made with love. It doesn’t matter if I eat in the restaurant or order takeout the food here is always a 10/10! My go to order is the Grilled Shrimp Scampi ( Camarones ) with garlic sauce and white rice with beans. My fiancé always orders their Pernil with rice and beans.

“Accidentally stumbled across this place and I'm glad I did. The food was delicious, the staff was welcoming and very attentive. I got the pancakes with eggs and turkey bacon.This is the first place I see offer a variety of Morir sonando flavors. One of the cooks recommended I try the pineapple morir sonando which was so good! 10/10“
