“This place is a hidden gem! My friend and I stopped by for lunch before a concert at CitiField and it was the best decision. The food was AMAZING, everyone there was so friendly and the environment felt like home. It was an extremely delicious and affordable lunch. “It was alright, definitely not worth the price. Everyone was nice, restaurant is setup like an old style diner, with all sauces galore. The best thing was the beans and rice; immaculate. The ribs were meaty but had a sweet aftertaste which didn’t make sense for the savory plate. Plantains tasted like they were bought at different times; some hard some soft.“

“There’s something that has been causing me secondhand embarrassment every time I pay with a card here. They pressure you to tip even if you order for pickup. We all know why you require signatures on receipts; it is a form of manipulation for tipping. Please top.

And just in case you guys try to justify this, there's a lot of restaurants that doesn't required it. And here is the irony, they only required my to sign the receipt if a I leave tips.

I'm talking about pickup orders, so is not about me complaining about paying the salary of the waitresses, because their patrons don't valued them and exploit them.“

Usually stop by here and pick up enough food to feed a small army of 10 adults and a few children and there is still left over for around $50They have 3 specials at very affordable prices but they do not lack in flavor taste or quality.Timely service and always a pleasant experience.Usually take it to go as the inside is a bit small for groups but they do take out and delivery which is always a win. Recommend going here if you find yourself in the need of some Caribbean cuisine.“

“Was passing trough the neighborhood and found this gem online! It's a nice sized space not large or very tiny. It did start to fill up as we dined. The server did a great job with recommendations! She even informed us that they extended happy hour which included apps until 4pm that Saturday. Overall food was delicious and I will definitely be back. Loved their style of my favorite dessert tres leches cake!“

“I highly recommend this driving school. For my son 17 years old the instructor Ayub teach him nicely and within short time and less driving lessons my son was able to drive perfectly. Today my son pass the road test and I am happy. As an instructor Ayub is the best and I suggest all of the student try at once and I believe you guys won’t regret it. “Great portions! The pernil and pollo guisado are my favorite. I’ve ordered lunch plates to stay, take out platters for group dinners, and catering orders for a party. They give such great portions. The catering orders are of course freshly made, but the lunch and take out are from the ready made trays in the store and the chicken and pernil are so tender and delicious.“

“I’m Puerto Rican and when I’m feeling homesick (often lately) I come in for a feast. Best rotisserie chicken, perfect seasoning, tasty crispy skin. Arroz con gandules is my favorite but the congris (black bean rice) is a close second. Also, I have a severe gluten allergy and have never had an issue! Love this place!“

You walk in, order chicharrón by weight and whatever sides you want. Make sure to grab some fresh avocado and passion fruit juice.

The entire staff speaks Spanish and I’ve personally never ordered in English here so I can’t verify the experience ordering in English. The food is so good it’s worth the language barrier.

“I was referred here by my friend who buys food from here often and shared and it's always delicious. My husband and I come from long island as often as we can now because we have never been disappointed with all the food we bought. Staff and owners are wonderful and very welcoming and grateful for our patronage which we love. The portions are great and pleasantly pleased that they include plantains. My absolute favorite is the beef stew, always mouth watering and tender. We will continue to return. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.“

The food here is consistently flavorful, fresh, and made with love. It doesn’t matter if I eat in the restaurant or order takeout the food here is always a 10/10! My go to order is the Grilled Shrimp Scampi ( Camarones ) with garlic sauce and white rice with beans. My fiancé always orders their Pernil with rice and beans.
