“Their pizzas are amazing!!! Best in queens for sure . Never gotten an overcooked (charred) pizza from them, pizza is always hot upon arrival, and the servers are super friendly. It's usually always busy when I go so I know I'm not the only one that thinks they're the best.“
“ngl good food and ambiance, but they charged an extra $10 to my card and never responded to my messages and email (they don’t have a phone number), so be careful and check your card statementsupdate: they got back to me after i wrote this review (1 star), so i’m bumping this back upupdate 2: i went back and wasn’t charged extra, the oysters are solid“
“best tapas outside of spain, and fair prices for the quality and taste, freshness too.used to be on 19st pre pandemic this location is beautiful. staff very friendly. we’ve been all over, to thousands of restaurants in the city and this is one of our favorites.Kid-friendliness: lots of families and lots of space“
“Such a beautiful space, delicious tapas, warm staff, great wine selection, clean and the prices a great! Great space fir meetings, lunch, dinner, … Did I mention they have a nice Happy Hour!? Yes they do! I have recommended it and will definitely revisit“
“I recently dined at Vinateriá and I must say, the food and service were absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The menu offered a variety of authentic Italian dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The service was attentive, friendly, and truly made our dining experience exceptional. I would definitely return to this restaurant in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic Italian meal. 5/5 stars.“
“I do eat here twice a week at least near by my job I love them chicken roasted with fries salad and rice for less then 14$ them prices fair specially happy hour drink 8$ that super good for upscale restaurantCustomer service is so great and professional I love the lights and the setting I’m loyal there lol“
“Fatima's is the best. I got the pernil, which I don't see on the "dishes I recommend" list, and that is a crime because this pernil was *amazing.* Also just plain old rice and beans, I don't know what they do to them but even the next day when they were cold they were still the best damn rice and beans I've ever had.“
“There is not much variety of food, the atmosphere is good but there is no place to give celebration surprises, I didn't like that. I went to celebrate my first year anniversary and I couldn't give the surprise because they didn't do that there. That's what I liked. I'm quite disappointed.“
“My Husband and I make an attempt to come here for dinner prior to whenever we go to the Lincoln Center! We love it so much we've found ourselves returning just to introduce other friends to this place. The food is fantastic, ambience is beautiful, fun, and lively, and service is attentive but relaxed. It beats out some of the top restaurants in flatiron and west village for us.“
“Little gem of a restaurant. Wonderful service and cocktails. Everyone's food was superb except one person's as the steak special was expensive and the meat was tough. Nice charcuterie board for an appetizer. Great, attentive waiter.“
“My goto place for the best roasted chicken in the area. Their motto - El Rey Del Pollo - King of the Roast Chicken. Also tried their other dishes today like the sautéed pork chops and the grouper fish fillet sautéed, with side dishes of red black beans, maduros, steamed vegetables, and yellow rice. All were generous and delicious. Also ordered their Malecon cocktail, diet soda, and finished off with an authentic Tres Leches dessert. We were so full and we still had lots of food to take home. We actually over-ordered. Service was very friendly, attentive, and efficient. Ambiance is cozy and contemporary. The place was packed on a Sunday lunch, very popular.Parking: Predominantly street parking, free on certain times and days. Paid parking garage nearby.“
“Met friends from CT., we are from long island. Food and drinks were amazing! Service was outstanding! Juan and all the staff were terrific! We will definitely make this a regular place to meet. Absolutely worth the trip!!! If I could give 100 stars I would! Complete package.“
“Yes Mama is one of the best discoveries of Astoria this year!Jessica runs the business all by herself and does a damn good job of it! Not only did she cook homemade Puerto Rican recipes, but she hires entertainment along with having a great selection of wine.I had the Carne Guisada (beef stew with white rice) and it felt like I was eating a mother’s cooking. Paired it with a couple glasses of Rosasera and a lovely Latin jazz band playing in the background and it was heaven. There were even some board games for us the play with while we waited on our food.Topped off the night by splitting a plate of the coquito flan served with the most adorable heart shaped spoons. It was so rich and decadent. If you live in or venture out to Astoria, please please please pay this place a visit! You’ll be so happy you did!“
“We celebrated our wedding ceremony and reception at MyMoon in October 2023 with a party of 75 people. We cannot fully express how wonderful the whole experience was for us. The venue was everything we wanted- Spanish decor, moody, romantic, cozy, and beautiful greenery in the courtyard and deck. The food and cocktails were delicious! Our event coordinator, Lee, is knowledgeable, super responsive, and organized. The staff was well equipped, attentive, and knew how to run an event. Our wedding went smoothly and Lee was there to address any unexpected concerns and provide support throughout the day. Our guests were surprised by this hidden gem in Brooklyn and expressed how much they enjoyed their time! We would love to attend a wedding here as guests!“
“Uncle Peter’s was a wonderful dining experience! The service was great. Our entrees included the grilled skirt steak and pesto gnocchi. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the pesto gnocchi was very delicious— a great vegetarian option. The crème brûlée was fantastic, and delicious cocktails as well. Everything was top notch quality and there is nothing better than that ✨ would 100% come back and recommend to others ?“
“Always have such a good experience when I dine here. The food is incredible. Drinks are tasty and fun. The staff is always so welcoming and lovely. Definitely recommend for a date night or a night out with friends! Oh and the churros are out of this world!“
“Had a cute date here with my partner after wanting to try this place for a long time. I’m from spain and I thought the food was great actually! We got the setas, pulpo, and paella de mariscos. All of the seafood was tasty and cooked really well. Definitely will return.“
“Gave this place a try a week ago and it was pretty good. Nothing we had was what I would call "ground breaking" but it was pretty solid for classics. The pancakes were very fluffy and fat but held good flavor too. For some reason I just had to try this places chopped cheese (my local bodega stopped selling food and switched to weed) and yea I've had better chopped cheeses but it did scratch that itch when you're craving one. I got the energizer juice also which was on par with others no notes. All in all the place is studry it sells what it's good at and seems to have a following of customers that appreciate that.“
“If you’re looking for a well-rounded dining experience, look no more. This place eludes passion from the food to the dimly lit ambience. We stopped in on a whim. We were instantly drawn in from the music and the array of colors. We tried 90% of the tapas menu and each dish was simple yet boasted so much flavor. I also appreciate when small businesses offer a organic wine selection. No wonder this place has managed stick around the upper east side!“
“It's a very nice little place, they have a live Jazz band on Wednesdays, the drummer also does a karaoke night. He's absolutely fantastic, very funny and no matter how many or little people are there he tries to involve everyone there, it's great.. If you participate you get a little trophy ? you must go at least once.. it really is a little hidden gem!! ??“
“Another wonderful evening at El Born. Came here to celebrate my birthday with family and the food was amazing. Great service and chill atmosphere. Ordered the Seaford Paella, lso the small fideo paella, several delightful appetizers and fresh white Sangria. Do try the papa bravas and the Grilled Octopus, so good. Highly recommend!!Kid-friendliness: High chair available“
“The food was amazing everything look good but the baked chicken was so good and flavorful cooked to perfection. The rice mixed with black beans and veggies so good the avocado a wide selection of drinks. Service was amazing everyone was smiling talking to customers.. ambiance pretty just 12pm on. A Monday“
“Found this place on a whim while waiting for Movies with Lin Manuel Miranda at United Palace. Pleasantly surprised by the delicious tapas- garlic shrimp, goat stuffed peppers, sangria and little seafood burrito- and service. Will be back for more!“
“Food was delicious. we had stuffed mushrooms, fried calamari, shrimp with garlic sauce, chorizo with peppers and onions for appetizers. I had Fideau with seafood it was delicious. Healthy portions. Service was exceptional!! Others had seafood paella, veal chop, shrimp. I recommend this restaurant ❤“
“Very good service, the girl who served me was very friendly, she was always attentive to me, she treated me very well, I loved her service, the order was prepared very quickly, they didn't make you wait so long and the food was very good by the way, the drink too very good, pina coladas recommended. I liked!!!Kid-friendliness: The place is good to go and share with the family, very safe.“
“Easy 5 stars, even with a long wait for the bar… b/c they were fully booked and we came in on a Saturday evening with no reservation at the last minute, so that was COMPLETELY understandable. I’m only mentioning it b/c i recommend getting a reservation and so that if you go, and it’s busy, be prepared to wait, but it is worth worth it! They even brought out two tapas to thank us for waiting it out. The octopus (seared perfectly), and mushroom croquettes were his favorite, while the shishito peppers, and camarones de ajillo were my strong favorites (I needed more bread for the amazing hot garlic olive oil at the bottom). I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you have any interest in Spanish tapa style of food. The potatoes bravas were good, I like mine super crispy so I would ask for that the next time. I had cava this time, but they have some amazing sangria and cocktails.“
“Great chicken steak sandwichGreat chicken shwarmaHe has fries better than McDonald's.... yes better than!Wings are really good! Add any of the sauces to your liking. I had the regular honey, so good! Will try the fried chicken next time I go!“
“As a long time patron this place is home away from home. The food is always great, the drinks are made with care and love and the staff is amazing.Friendly, attentive and responsible for the ambiance in either the dining room side or the bar side it is as close to automatic as you can get when wanting a local bar.Cesar,Alvaro and the gang always make sure the experience is up to standards and do it with“
“Excellent place to enjoy a quiet and relaxing evening. The food is very delicious, even though their “Valencian” paella is actually rice with things, but not an authentic Valencian paella. The sangri is highly recommended. An excellent tiramisu.“
“This is the best places to have a great time! Lugos is the best owner ever he so nice and friendly so lovely he dedicated him self to his customers if you want to have a great time I recommend you this places Lugo is the freaking best!!! I will definitely give all my money to Lugo he is such a people person all business owner should learned from him!!!!!! 15 years ain’t nothing you have a long way to go we love you♥️♥️♥️♥️“
“Omg I have eaten lots of ribs in my years, but p&c spanish restaurant knock it out of the park and then some, the ribs so tender and it tasted like you are actually eating a pernil from old school cook, please don't ever change it I love it the best I ever ate,Kid-friendliness: They are friendly with everyone.“
“Good food! Excellent service! The waitress was very nice and attentive and the food was delicious. I had the special of the day. It was soup with potatoes and meat. Not 100% sure what I ate exactly, but it hit the spot. It was perfect for the weather and was incredibly filling. And for just $12!“
“This is by far, and I mean BY FAR the cleaniest Dominican restaurant i been in. Pastelitos on point, that's hard to find. Most importantly Fresh, Good vibes plus excellent service, We all know that's hard to find now in days. Im really happy with this spot. After pandemic restaurant and service not same anymore, and more expensive. Definitely go back.“
“At 6am they are fully ready for service. The line is hot and stocked. The grill is sizzling. Everything is fresh. Half a dozen employees hustling to get the working folks fed and out the door. It’s not the cheapest, but in exchange you get quality, speed and the early start. Fair.“
“My husband and I went to Zona De Cuba for our 25th wedding anniversary ❤️ Everyone was wonderful! From the door man to the restaurant worker's ❤️ We enjoyed ourselves So much! A little expensive, but when Everything is good Vibes it can't be matched! The waiter even made a surprise dessert for us? I would love to go again ❤️ #LoveZonaDeCuba ?“
“Excellent food, although the portions could be larger. We had sangria, fried calamari, Arroz Pescador. The service was truly out of the scale. Flaco even sang “Happy Anniversary” to us with a complimentary flan and candle. He was funny (dropped by our table on purpose just to say a joke or two). Really lovely person.Parking: Easy“
“My go-to Mexican spot in greenpoint for pick up or dine in. The food is always so fresh, down to every ingredient. They have so many options and even offer specials. Although we pick up often don't sleep on dining in. The staff is always so nice and suggest new dishes. One of my favorite spots, always great “
“I really liked this place, it has a nice cozy atmosphere and interesting interior with a lot of unique details. There are separate tables and bar counters. Their menu offers a variety of delicious treats, from ramen to steak. I definitely recommend it, and come here again.“
“Great food, great drinks. The staff is always super friendly, and attentive. I order something different every time I come here and have never been disappointed. The room can be a quite loud when it's busy which is not due rowdy customers, but rather the lack of acoustic treatment in the room.I would highly recommend this place if you're in the area.“
“I have been going to this small place for years. If you want to feel like you are eating at your abuelas house, this is it! The owners make you feel like you are at home. The cheapest prices in the neighborhood. They catered my last event & I could not believe the prices. To add on the owner added a nice surprise to my order - Just so thoughtful! I just love coming here... from the smell of home made food when you walk in, to the culture.“
“Very good if your looking for a quick eat. My favorite order is BBQ chicken thighs with sweet potato fries. I highly suggest trying their chinola pineapple drink super good. When I want my order two last me for about 2-3 days I get a whole chicken with a side of BBQ sauce which is hands down a 10/10. Chicken ranch is great, quick service, and tasty eating for an affordable reasonable price.“
“Fantastic food! The grilled calamari was the star dish - beautifully cooked with some great flavors! As was the octopus, patatas brava and the paella valencia. Also the sangria was delicious - fruity and boozy - and went down really well with the food. Good service too. Will definitely head back for more tapas and sangria soon.“
“Amazing food! Excellent service! Outstanding juice bar!!! We had the Moro and ribs and chicken cutlet… yellow rice and beans and pastelon… delicioso!!! Please go here!!! I highly recommend this place… wow!! By the way….. the prices are great!“
“I have to admit, Mary's Restaurant was truly fabulous. Great ambiance, clean and friendly service. Everything tasted fresh and was very good! The crew was magnificent, literally every one. Mary's Restaurant... Go there, if you can.“
“Went for a spur of the moment late dinner of small plates with no expectations and were very pleased with the result. A great spot to exit the bustle of Metropolitan Avenue. The mussels were excellent and the other items on the menu, while not innovative, were very well executed.“
“What an awesome experience! Great food and service. I felt as though I were in Spain again. The prices were very reasonable as well and the portions were large. Shared a seafood paella with my friend and a tortilla espanola and fried calamari. The calamari was lightly dusted with flour and was amazing! Try the sangria too!“
“We ordered three tapas plates without realizing they had a prix fixe group menu, which included all three of the tapas we originally ordered. I asked if we could get the group menu ( 5 tapas and two paellas) and just get two more of the tapas choices and continue from there. The server said they could do that. Instead they brought five more tapas , including once again the three tapas we originally ordered, and two new ones, then the two paellas. We were charged for the original three tapas and then the group menu as well. It was way too much food and too much money, and ruined my dining experience.“
“I recently visited Sofrito in Harlem with friends for a delightful dinner and drinks experience. The ambiance, with views overlooking Riverside Drive and the water, was truly breathtaking. Plus, their valet parking for only $20 was a convenient perk given the area's parking challenges. Now, onto the main event – the food! I opted for the whole pernil with rice, beans, and sweet plantains, priced at $40. The portion size was generous and utterly satisfying. We also indulged in their chicken, beef, and Cuban empanadas, all bursting with flavor. Personally, I couldn't get enough of the beef and Cuban varieties. The Chuletas De Cerdo were juicy and impeccably seasoned, while the chicharrón de pollo and carne frita were equally enjoyable. The atmosphere, enhanced by a DJ spinning classic and current hits, made for a memorable experience. While the service was quick, we felt a bit rushed out by our server(s), which was slightly disappointing. Additionally, some dishes were a touch too salty for my taste, and the tables near the windows felt a bit cramped. However, despite these minor drawbacks, I would still highly recommend Sofrito for a fantastic dining experience in Harlem.Parking: $20 for valet“
“This is a typical Dominican restaurant in the Bronx, however, there food is slightly superior to those in the neighborhood. The chicken and beans taste better then most sorounding spots and they have great specials. The prices have hiked a bit, but with inflation it is expected. This restaurant has been around for a while and I hope it keeps thriving for many more years to come.#dominican #food #love #chicken #beans #lunch #breakfast #los3golpesVegetarian options: They have rice, beans, vegetables, plantains, and other options.Kid-friendliness: Everyone is welcome including kidsWheelchair accessibility: This is on the first floor and although the door does not open automatically, a person can come in with no issues.“
“Siento de Corazón que el dueño haya fallecido en un incidente de verdad era una gran persona y trabajo muchísimo para dejar su legado ? La comida es 5 estrellas servicio lo único es que debe decirle a los clientes que la propina está incluida a veces falta de comunicación pero el lugar es increíble el picante la comida es súper increíble“
