My husband had specifically arranged for a sweet birthday surprise—a simple dessert and a song—and the hostess completely forgot. Watching the night end in absolute silence without even a mention of my birthday was devastating. It completely ruined what should have been a special moment. Remind the hostess or server several times about anything special you want yo do.“

“One of the most beautiful hidden gems in Queens, the restaurant is beautiful on special nights they have someone playing instruments. The food and Sangria's are delicious. There venue for parties is one of a kind, they decorate the room that when you walk in you say WOW!! their staff truly makes you feel welcome and are very attentive, and Juan makes you feel like your family. Highly recommend, wether for a night out with the family or romantic dinner, this is truly the place to go too..“

“I walked in; they greeted me. They were so nice, clean, and polite; they don't have a bathroom for the public. They had a lunch special that was so worth it; the salt intake is ok, delicious. I believe 6.99 gtray deal; trust me, you won't miss out. I got black beans, yellow rice, and chicken. They have seating for everyone, and in the back is a special surprise. Boy, I can't wait to go back. I don't know the prices on the special but you can sit anywhere in the restaurant and enjoy your meal. It's best to enjoy your meal and, once done, try to clean up and head out. The place has amazing food, and people are walking in and want a seat; it's only courteous.“

“i order from here often and their food is so good & it’s halal! everything i’ve eaten from here has tasted fresh & well seasoned. They close around 2 am and always add new stuff/combos to the menu. Just picked this up before they closed. They are also very nice & have always had great manners. Me & my dad go here all the time lol“

“Great local food. Comfortable atmosphere. I had the grilled lamb chops with French fries and spinach. DO NOT ORDER THE SPINACH. In my opinion, they are horrible. They taste like thawed out old spinach that is not edible. The spinach is chewy and unpleasant. The lamb chops are delicious and the fries were made to perfection. The service was good and the price was right.“

The cassava cheese circular thing was amazing as well the arepa. They both have slight sweet taste to them and it’s very good.
I got 4 items and drink for around $15 only, pretty good price as well

Food is well seasoned, big portions, freshly made. That steak is the softest I’ve had in a long time. And it comes with a side. I choose the mashed potato which is nicely done also. The food is consistently delicious, but what really makes this place special is the staff. Everyone is attentive, welcoming, and genuinely makes you feel at home. The quality of the food and the level of customer service have been consistently great every single time I visit.

It’s definitely become my go-to spot in Astoria, and I recommend it to everyone. If you haven’t tried Sangria yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. You won’t be disappointed!“

Came here twice, once for some quick empanadas for breakfast and the other for lunch. Rotisserie chicken, rice, beans and vegetables for $20(USD).
