The food here is very good. I personally like their "Ropa Vieja" dish. They make it excellent!
One of my favourite neighborhood restaurants, that I try and visit every time I'm in New York. Great food and a great welcome.
On my first visit I ordered the pulled pork entree with bread pudding for desert with ice water to drink. Service was friendly and fast. The pulled pork was layered down the center of a deep bowl filled with small orange elbows. The pulled pork was perfect and plentiful. The thick, small pasta elbows however were harder than al dente and required considerable chewing. The elbow sauce was cheesy and tasty.
