“I found this place by accident while working in the area, and it turned out to be one of the best food surprises I've had in a long time. I saw photos of the popcorn chicken and knew I had to try it and it completely exceeded my expectations.

The popcorn chicken was perfectly seasoned, unbelievably crispy, and fresh, with every bite packed with flavor. The crunch was spot on without being greasy. Their homemade BBQ sauce is a must-try. It adds the perfect sweet and smoky kick. I paired it with their white rice, shrimp fried rice, and their homemade iced tea, and every single item was outstanding.

It's not often you stumble onto a true hidden gem, but this place absolutely deserves the hype. If you're a fan of crispy fried chicken done right, do yourself a favor and stop by. I'll definitely be back for more!“

I did the AYCE lunch dine-in and left with basically enough food that I was full until the next day. Selection is broad enough for the price, and this includes fountain soda and ice cream as well.

Note you can also do a takeout buffet box, which it seems a lot of customers do.

I particularly enjoyed the freshly fried chicken, salt pepper shrimp, barbecue (char siu style) chicken thighs, fried crab, bbq rib tips, fried fish, string beans, and avocado salad. They have an amazing chilli paste sauce that really elevated the meal for me as a spice lover.“

“My favorite are the spare rib tips and the sesame chicken. The rib tips have a menthol taste that is hard to describe but it’s exquisite and the sesame chicken is the best in the Bronx. The food is so good I order it every week. I wish the egg rolls were fatter but it’s okay.“

“Have ordered here twice. First order friend rice and chicken wings. Love that is not overly salty or feel greasy. Wings are not oversized like hormone injected. Personally didn't feel unhealthy after eating it even though is take out , if it makes sense lol. I don't like food overly seasoned.

“My goto for Chinese and Japanese take out in Throggs Neck. Their food, drinks and noodles with duck sauce reminds me of the old Hawaii Sea on Tremont. I always order from them and I am never disappointed. But this review is not for the great food but for them going above and beyond to please a customer. A friend of mine caught a fresh yellow fin tuna and I wanted to make my own sushi. They sold me their sushi rice which is awesome and included all the condiments I needed to make the meal with my family a success. I also purchased some shumai cuz theirs are the bomb. Thanks to the awesome staff for helping me make it all possible and suggesting what saki from the liquor store next door to make my authentic Japanese meal at home. Most places would be stand offish but they actually applauded me and asked me to show them pictures when I came back. “China City has amazing chinese foods my favorite is general tso chicken which was great and also i love there sesame chicken also there fried rice with chicken wings dish is great but one minor issue i have is that some times just sometimes this does not really happen its rare and its very uncommon but the sesame chicken can taste old not fresh like the chicken is sort pink inside and the sesame chicken sometimes does not taste good and the chicken taste like its been left out for a little long but remember this experience barely happens but those are my only issues but other wise this restaurant is great it has friendly staff and is clean.“

“I tried the general tso's shrimp. It was really good. My only complaint is I got the combination bowl and it only came with 7 shrimp and it was 1.50 extra PER shrimp. That was ridiculous to me. I wouldn't get it again because it isn't filling, but if there was more shrimp this would have been perfect.“
