“Hands down best Chinese food around the area.I usually make my own Chinese food but when I’m not feeling it I always buy from here only! The people are friendly and food is tasty. We have received stale fried noodles before that’s probably the worst thing.“

“I ordered Chinese food for dinner for Mothers day for my mom and me. The Chicken egg foo young was a mess! I almost called to tell them to pick it up and give me my money back!!. The egg foo young were not like pancakes, there were 4" wide, 3" thick ball of something, The food didn't last as long because they gave 1/2 of the egg foo young pancakes. Don't know if I will order from here anymore after this. I am ANGRY and disgusted that I didn't NOT get my damn money's worth.“
“Actually amazing. I'm a chef down in the city at a Michelin place, and this was the best Chinese takeout I've had in awhile.I peeped their ingredients and everything was fresh. Bright green veggies, even the scallions that the cooks garnished on the plates. The meat didn't have the typical freezer burn taste.Even the rice was plump as if expertly cooked in a fancy overpriced Manhattan place. The service... The solo cook was handling everything but took the time to even clear a table for my group among the boxes of supplies and hand delivered all the food. Even asked if everything was ok.When I asked for hot sauce, he gave me the legit chili sauce you find in Chinese supermarkets. This is the type of place that is a regional hidden gem. I'll be submitting this place to the times and nymag, as I would def come back again if in the area.“

“The food here is great. Came for a late lunch with my gf. The staff is friendly, and welcoming. They have very fast service. They kept my water glass filled. For the price of takeout you get a nice restaurant experience.
The wonton soup was good, light, not oily, and had tiny bits of pork in the broth.
The scallion pancakes are fried until crispy. They dont have too many scallions inside but are light and have a slight stretch and a good mouth feel. They weren't oily from low heat oil.
The fried wontons were deep fried and the skin had little bubbles in them which gave them a flaky texture as it crackles in your mouth. The inside was still soft and delicious.
The general tso chicken was good too. The chicken was fried til it had a sugar crack almost and had extra sauce on top.
The vegetable fried rice was good. It had eggs, Scallions, sprouts, onions. It didn't need much sauce at all.
The schezuan chicken was good. The meat was nice and silky. The brown sauce wasn't too salty. The vegetables that came with it were steamed nicely and also had a decent amount of sauce.
The white rice was nice, and fluffy.
The bill came with orange slices and fortune cookies“

“Today is 10.21.23 I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for months now and everytime i cheat on them I regret it. Overall this is the best Chinese spot in south Yonkers when it comes to customer service and food. The Asian lady that answers the phone is always laughing and warm. She doesn’t rush you off the phone like the other spots and she actually listens! In my book that’s a win win. When you order chicken wings, they are actual wings lol not small or mediocre like what the other spots try to feed you and thankfully they are not over cooked or burnt. I’m not sure what’s going on with the other reviews but try it for yourself.“

“FIRST TIME ORDERING FROM THEM EVERYTHING WAS GREAT, SOUP, APPETIZERS, COMBOS WITH SHRIMP, CHICKEN WINGS AND FRIED RICE. EVERYTHING WAS FRESH EVEN THE FOOD DEEP FRIED.GIVE THEM A TRY YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED.REMINDED ME OF FOOD FROM CHINA TOWN IN MANHATTAN.“
“Braised pork on rice had very small slices of pork belly. A layer of sauce on BOTH the top and bottom of the rice, which was smart. The garnishes of steamed broccoli and half egg (cold) were uninspiring. Pretty bowl, but the amount of food was not worth $9.95.“
“People are wonderful and professional on my book she's a great person along with her colleagues always smiling and very decent and she also got a beautiful daughter that I seen once or twice they should open up a restaurant with the same Cooks my blessings“

“Been going here since I was a teenager. Love! They always get my order right, and treat me with care.
Vegetarian options: I’m autistic, so I always order broccoli and garlic sauce with plain fried rice (and sometimes plain lo mein (can’t speak to other dishes).
This is the ONLY place in Yonkers I trust with broccoli. It’s always crunchy/fresh, and FULL of sauce. And they always give you a big serving <3
Dietary restrictions: I’m vegetarian, and they have a decent amount of vegetarian options!“

“First off, it was difficult getting them on the phone. Dinner time seems to be their busiest time. So, note to self, order before 5 pm. The food was good, delivery was quick. By the way, I had the wonton soup (lots of wonton and still hot) and the shrimp fried rice (lots of shrimp/prawns).“

“This place is one of the LAST still using their own delivery service, which no matter how you slice it, is cheaper than Door Dash, Uber, Seamless. I hope they stay that way. The food was decent, still better than Micky-Dee in my opinion. The delivery took as long or as short as they said it would. no surprises.“

“I was skeptical when the business was bought out by a new owner who had been there for two decades.I have to admit the new restaurant has enormous portions, bigger then most restaurants, the quality of the ingredients is fantastic and it's a great value overall.I rarely leave restaurant reviews, but the new ownership and restaurant is deserving of a review.“

“Me and my family have been ordering from this restaurant for like the past 20 years , then I move around the corner, and we made it a habit to order every weekend, and even though I moved out of the area, I but I'm not too far from them I still order for them, and I've never had a complaint and when I say never, I mean never that's why this restaurant has the same loyal customers for years cause we know how this restaurant is Ron and the great cooks they have“

“Always a reliable take out/delivery spot. Friendly and efficient service. The food isn’t what it used to be, but still solid. I live close by, but my order has literally arrived at my door within 15 minutes on multiple occasions- beyond impressive.“
“En Lai is your typical small Chinese fast food restaurant that does not have seating to eat in. They excel at some dishes while others are okay. Love their beef/chicken with broccoli. Their barbecue spare ribs could be more meaty, tender and sauced so I go with the boneless ribs instead. They are very busy during meal times with a steady rush of customers. It's best to plan and call ahead for delivery or takeout during peak dinner and lunch times. They have the standard two woks for cooking main dishes and one wok for frying rice. They can be heavy handed or inconsistent with seasoning some dishes but you can ask them to adjust for low sodium or less seasoning. The place looks run down but their food is good and seems to be prepared in a sanitary way.“

“Love this place . The food is so delicious and my favorite part is the fact that you can tell they use REAL chicken and not that gooey slimey stuff that other places use. They also do not have kung pao chicken but they will do a very similar dish with cashew instead of peanuts and its sooo good!“
