“If you’re in the Bronx and love Vietnamese food, you are in for a treat. This place is easily one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in New York. The pho is so flavorful and filling especially with the beef and pickled vegetables. The rice and pork with fresh vegetables is so good. The rice goes so well with the crunchy vegetables and the grilled pork chop. Overall, this place is so good.“

“Classic NYC Greek owned diner here. I get tested like royalty, their food is on point, they have great specials and the customers constantly rotate, so a wait isn't but so long. This is my neighborhood diner, so I'll always return. I have friends who dine here alone on random days of the week because it's a peaceful environment.

“I came here regularly when the original owner George was in charge. Charming guy who stopped what he was doing to yell Hello to everyone who walked in. The food was regular diner food that he elevated. Huge portions and decent price. He retired or left and people who worked for him took over. I rarely go now. Food is decent but prices went up and portions are smaller. The servers are good and personable. Place seems to always be busy since there are several schools and offices in the area. Still decent but you don't get as much value for your money and no charm and personality from George.“

“Let me start with parking. Found a spot at the entrance. No meters! Immediately seated and ordered a Cuban and ribs. Just the right amount of meat and pickle. Ribs fell off the bone. BUT PLEASE lets talj about the beer, after all, this is an ale house with 16 selections: I drank one, then sampled 3 and selected amongst those.
The staff is small but well oiled. This is FIFA (SPAIN VS AUSTRIA). More and more guests are arriving - the bar is almost full yet service moves.

“Found this place as “Desi Vegan” on google maps, which doesn’t seem to actually exist but is just a sub-menu of this place or something like that. The restaurant itself is definitely a bit of a hole in the wall—just a few tables and no physical menus or anything—but don’t judge a book by its cover. We had some of the best Indian food we’ve had anywhere, and a full vegan lunch for two was like $25. Super authentic, and extremely nice people working there too, even gave us a couple of free samosas as we headed out. returning to the restaurant to swap the dish was not an option. I reached out to management to explain the situation and I was incredibly impressed by how they handled it. The manager was professional, understanding, and immediately made things right by issuing a full refund for the entire order.
It’s rare to find a restaurant that truly prioritizes customer satisfaction, especially when a mistake occurs. Despite the initial issue, the excellent service and their willingness to go above and beyond to fix it have earned my respect. Although I couldn't enjoy the rice myself, a family member did, and they said it was great! I truly appreciate the restaurant taking responsibility, and I look forward to ordering from them again.“

The food doesn't try to imitate meat, though some of it tasted like sausage and could pass. Instead it is full of flavor without things like cheese and excess salt, which is generally bad for you. It's seasoned with real herbs and spices, not fatty sauces or butter. It has the kind of ingredients I would eat if I were a rich athlete or hired a personal chef: healthy and tasty.
