“The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. My favorite dish is the steamed snapper,it’s consistently delicious and one of the best I’ve had. The tacos are also excellent and definitely worth ordering.
The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere makes it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. If you’re looking for fresh Caribbean-inspired food with great quality and consistency, I highly recommend giving Ripe Kitchen & Bar a try.“

“A hidden gem, Great food and it’s all Halal. They open late , like really late till 2-3 am. My favorite is the Holy chicken sandwich they have sweet potato tots as a side, there’s nowhere else that does that and their seasoned fries slap too and their tenders is damn near half a chicken,
aiit that’s enough glazing, great spot though come check it in out, keep them in business because if they get pushed out by some big chain im moving.“

“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“This place changed my life. I first moved to the neighborhood in 2022, I was scared, young, nervous, but ready for the big city. Thankfully The Handpulled Noodle was there to give me the vitamins and minerals I needed to work without end for my dear landlord. The Handpulled Noodle was there for me when nobody was. “TL;DR: Grab a table outside, enjoy a glass of wine with a plate of pasta, and do some people-watching. This is an amazing spot to wind down the evening!
Food:
I have had the orecchiette (brunch) and the lasagne (dinner). I have also tried the chicken milanese panini. The food really is quite spectacular here: I love that you can really taste how high quality and textured the pasta is. For seemingly simple dishes, they do an amazing job at the flavor. They have good wine selection as well with some affordable options. There is also a happy hour as well to look out for!
Service:
The waiters here are quite friendly and very attentive. They regularly ask if you need anything, and they’ll come do water refills as needed. No complaints at all.
Ambiance:
Located on a street with a good amount of foot traffic but is not that loud. It’s very comfortable outside, and they have seating indoors as well (although I exclusively choose to sit outdoors here). There is a clean restroom downstairs as well.“

“I was very impressed, moonlighting in the bartender night life for the last 20 years. I normally don’t go out to bars. My sister and myself were down at Lenox hospital for our Dads surgery. One of the desk staff at Franklin Hotel recommended Penrose! The staff, manager and bartender were so friendly. I have to say I was very happy. I will certainly pop over again next time I’m in the area!!!! The drinks and food were top notch… So cheers Penrose to your amazing hospitality ❤️“

“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“

“Cute little Thai eatery in upper east side, but there are a handful a tables for dining in.
Loved the lunch specials which come with a choice of appetizer. I went with the spring rolls, which is the correct choice when pairing with a pork pad see ew. I really enjoyed the flavor and consistency of the protein.
My wife went with the chicken pad see ew, and she found it a bit salty.
Regardless of the salt level, the grating sounds of a jackhammer tearing up the street directly outside the front door does not make for appealing ambiance, especially when the door keeps sticking in an open position every time someone enters or leaves.“

“If you love ramen this is the place for you.
The ramen here is delicious, rich , full of flavor and best part it taste homemade! The Korean fried chicken is definitely a must try and it has a great amount of heat to it both are 10/10 for sure.
The owner and servers are very nice, welcoming and helpful. If you’re unsure about what to order or need help ordering they’re happy to explain the menu and help you choose.

“My husband and I had their mushroom chick’n and Mac and cheese and chopped mushroom and cheese. All we could say was WOW! It was incredible for vegans and non-vegan alike. This chef is a mushroom magician creating comfort foods from mushroom and chickpeas. The best part about his food. It’s CLEAN whole food vegan eating. No soy, No seitan which my body does not do good with. So our hats go off to the chef and we highly recommend!“

“Found this restaurant by accident on Friday and we love it! In fact, we went back Saturday for Churros and Sunday for dinner again. On Friday we had their Street Tacos and today we had their Tako Bowls! This may be a small place, but their flavors are not!! Amazing food and great portions! The entire staff from front and back of house are very friendly. So glad we found them and looking forward to going back! We HIGHLY recommend them!“

“It was a surprise to find this little restaurant in Harlem. There were no tables, and we took the last two seats at the bar. While we waited, I surprisingly felt at home. The aroma of the food, the care with which Karina prepared each of the dishes, and the kindness and joy they served us. By the time our table was ready, we didn't want to take it anymore; we ate much more than we planned to order because we didn't want to miss out on their delicious food. I have dietary restrictions, and I was surprised to see that everything from the exquisite tortillas to the delicious tres leches dessert was prepared right there, gluten-free and preservative-free. I hope to return soon.“
