“This location used to host the China Chef restaurant back in the 60's/80's, a really nice slightly upscale Chinese restaurant. My first taste of Asian American cuisine. Unfortunately the China Chef is long gone.
J.J. Garden which now occupies this location makes some of the tastiest Chinese American dishes that I've had the pleasure to enjoy in a long time. Their Fried rice dishes are outstanding. Made on demand, not bulk prepared. Now that's the way it's supposed to be! Their Beef with Broccoli is perfect, with just tender broccoli and perfectly cooked beef.
I'll cut this review short here, and just say that if you like properly prepared Chinese American food JJ Garden is worth the trip.
BTW pricing is reasonable, not cheap but also not expensive.“
