First time ordering from Coconut Palm Bar. The black pudding is good, tasted fresh & well made. Bobby special chicken was..different. It had a nice flavor & crunch to it. It would've been nice if they added a sauce to go with it as it a bit dry to eat by itself.
The ambiance is difficult to describe at this Guyanese/Chinese mash up of a restaurant. The bar area makes it appear as a.... well as... a dive kinda bar. And when I was there, which happened to be cinco de mayo, there were locals hangin at the bar. Friendly People, but still friends of the bar owner. Service was okay. The food was very good.
