Been coming here for years. Sometimes I order food for delivery days apart. I will admit that sometimes the white rice is a little too soft but other than that, the food is fire.

Not sure if they have a new chef. But ordered chicken curry and dhal puri and literally could not eat it.Way too much Masala on the curry and the dhal puri was hard, seems like they heat it up from the day before. It's usually not like this but ordered twice and got the same thing.

First time ordering from Coconut Palm Bar. The black pudding is good, tasted fresh & well made. Bobby special chicken was..different. It had a nice flavor & crunch to it. It would've been nice if they added a sauce to go with it as it a bit dry to eat by itself.

The ambiance is difficult to describe at this Guyanese/Chinese mash up of a restaurant. The bar area makes it appear as a.... well as... a dive kinda bar. And when I was there, which happened to be cinco de mayo, there were locals hangin at the bar. Friendly People, but still friends of the bar owner. Service was okay. The food was very good. However, after ordering the oxtail dish with rice and beans, the oxtails were few and far between. And I paid what I would consider a higher price than I usually do for oxtails. So in conclusion, kinda pricey and portion was too small. Food is good if you have some deep pockets.

I had a business lunch meeting at this restaurant, our server was very warm and friendly, ( Miss Tish❤️) the food was great and I'm differently ordering my dinner from here .
I would of gave this place a 5 usually. But last night I ordered their shrimp fried rice, and the shrimp were literally hard and dry, as if they didn't cook it together with the rice so I was very disappointed. Usually that's one of my favorite meals from them but last night I gotta say, it wasn't good. I was also very embarrassed because I had company. I wanted them to try the food and they said the same thing. I also ordered the fried chicken that was good.. but again how were the strimps dry and hard.. I have ordered plenty of times from this place and that's never happened...

The negative reviews on here are absolutely not true.I’ve been coming here since they opened, since they had a bigger portion of the restaurant. They provide great service & great food for the West Indian community. I’ve bought trays of food for all my events and plus my job events and gotten positive feedback from all types of ethnicities that ate their food.Don’t believe the negative reviews!

Spent a lot of money and my roti was raw tasted like uncooked doe. My goat was still at the store because I got a lot of bones instead of meat lolPolurie with pepper ? no chutney omg never again ? calling no answer oh well good luck too all.....
