Island Grill Bronx Modern Caribbean Kitchen is a top-tier Jamaican restaurant that does not disappoint. The food is really delicious, incredible, and flavorful. Dishes include tender, rich oxtails falling off the bone, incredible jerk chicken, sweet chili salmon, stew chicken, Rasta pasta, and fried shrimp. Sides like fried dumplings, baked mac & cheese, and shrimp fried rice are creamy, crispy, and seasoned just right. The restaurant is clean, well-organized, and has a welcoming ambience with great music. The people are friendly and provide great customer service. The prices are really great. It is a spot for real Jamaican food in the Bronx.
