The food is good. The cornmeal porridge was too sweet. My niece have peanut allergy and it was a cross contamination with the oats with peanut porridge. Please be more careful food allergies can be deadly. Thank you.
Front Page Restaurant & Lounge is one of the newer restaurants in the area and definitely one of the cleanest. They serve Caribbean Jamaican cuisine and is located just under the end of the 2 train in the Bronx. I've driven by the restaurant a couple times but never stopped in because to 241st and the other side of White Plains Rd past the train station is not one of the safest areas. I like a clean place, I ordered breakfast and it was delicious. I am Jamaican and I cook myself so I hold these restaurants to high standards in terms of flavor. I believe the gentleman that served me was the owner and he was polite. I haven’t been back to this place in 2 years since they opened and I moved to the Middle East so it was good to see them still there when I got back. I’ll be trying the diner next time.
