Kingston Food Truck, located on the northwest corner of Zerega and Randall Avenue, offers freshly barbecued meals with generous portions. The truck is known for its authentic Jamaican cuisine, including jerk chicken, pork, oxtail, fish, and shrimp. The smell of palmetto wood smoking is often noticeable from a distance. Meals are seasoned with authentic Jamaican curry and jerk seasoning, resulting in tender and flavorful meat. Popular dishes include jerk pork with Rasta Pasta and brown stew chicken. The food truck is a favorite spot for bus drivers, nurses, cops, and utility workers, who enjoy the friendly service and delicious food. Meals are reasonably priced. The truck plays smooth reggae music, adding to the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Really enjoyed it, the food is soooo delicious and this is something real special here. The wait almost killed me but the FOOD was worth it. This is a TRUE Caribbean truck and BY FAR the best soul food. Some chicken dinners are not for young children because of the small sharp and splintered pieces of chopped up chicken bones served with the rice and beans. Otherwise, the quality and quantity of food is very good.
