“The food there is awesome!! And so affordable just thinking about the food makes me drool however I recommend eating your food at home, they can get pretty hostile about the tip and if it’s not enough. Like for me one time they kept reminding me that tip has to (yes she said has to) be 18% and I think they treat black people …. For lack of nicer words rudely? Ignores them? I remember I walked in with my friend and we pretty much had to do everything no menu were given to us, we had to ask for water, keep asking for refills, go up to order all the while the workers were in the kitchen just talking and seems pretty upset when I would politely interrupt just to receive some service.“

“Absolutely love the food, service and ambience of lumlum. Had the best time on a weeknight enjoying the crying tiger and fried branzino. You must order the river prawn it was beyond words and the taro ice cream was a perfect conclusion to a hearty and satisfying meal. The service was attentive and we are definitely coming back as a regular!“

“The menu is the most delicious and authentic of Thai menus out there. I mean the sausages are all HOMEMADE! The best food by the best chef, Chuck. He is already a famous private chef and now you will be spoiled any day of the week! Just go and see for yourself or get delivery!“

“Great authentic Thai place with some harder to find dishes. The food was amazing and the portions were large for an amazing price. Staff were friendly and quick and the service was friendly. As far as sit-down restaurants go this might be the best value/quality per dollar place I have eat in NYC. Highly recommended.“

“An authentic Thai restaurant where you can adjust the flavors to your liking. We ordered roasted pork, Som Tum, and Tom Yum—the food was delicious, and prices were reasonable. The service and atmosphere were both pleasant. Recently reopened after a brief closure, it’s definitely worth a try!“

“I can’t believe I slept on this place.
Best food and service hands down. I would say even better than a lot of places in SE Asia.
I wish I had more photos but seriously, we woofed it down as fast as it came.
Service was spectacular.
This place deserves a Michelin star and more.“

“This is a restaurant that redefines traditional Thai cuisine. At first glance, the menu might not seem particularly impressive, but each dish carries hints of innovation. Take the curry rice noodles, for example—while curry with noodles or rice is common, pairing it with rice noodles stands out as unique. The drink menu is also full of Southeast Asian flair, making it highly recommended.“

“Me and my wife love this place. It's got an old Orient Express train car theme throughout the restaurant. Be warned ⚠️ lol, the spicy selections on the menu are true to the meaning of spicy. Definitely a go-to for those who like real spice in your life.“

“Easily one of the best Thai food spots you can get in NYC! The decor, the ambiance, the taste, the service is top tier. I can't wait to go back and share the experience with loved ones. Snippets of my time there will be engrained into my memory, hard not to love it. Highly recommend, as I tend to be a tougher critic of Thai food spots.“

“I love Thai food in general and I have had a lot of it a lot of different places. This is the best chicken pad see ew I think I’ve ever had. The view of 1st Ave is super cute and they played great music so I can’t have asked for a better atmosphere and vibe. The service was lovely and fast. Presentation of the food was also a step above and the place is super clean. I’d highly recommend and I hope I come back soon too. Only complaint was $6 for a sparkling water which I didn’t realize I’d be charged for. Oh well. I’ll skip it next time.“

“Very good Thai food! I had the duck with pineapple and lychee and loved it. It wasn't too sweet and also a bit spicy, so just the right balance! It's very good value for money, too. Would recommend to go here if you're in the area and looking for some delicious Thai food ?“

“After a day trip we quickly picked up food here. Super tasty and it was ready very quickly.

“I came here because of their amazing 4.9 rating on Google Maps, however, I was not amazed by their food. I got curry puffs to start my dinner. The puffs were nice and flavorful. The outside was light and flaky, and the insides were well seasoned with nice texture. The sauce came with was too sweet to my liking. Personally I prefer eating it as it is. I pad see ew with shrimp and added beef($5). The flavor was nice and the shrimp was fresh and clean. However, the beef wasn’t so good especially when I paid $5 extra for them. It was too dry and chewy.
Overall, it’s a standard Thai restaurant. The food was nice but nothing special about it.“

“This was such a wonderful dining experience! The restaurant itself is so charming -- we enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. The waitress was also incredibly friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed the variety of gluten-free, vegan dishes Plue had to offer. All of them were flavorful, delicious, and authentic! Especially unique was the vegan pad krapow, which is one of the most special Thai dishes I've had at a restaurant. I hope this special of theirs is here to stay!
This was overall an incredible dining experience, and I highly recommend Plue.“

“Ordered the number 2 fried chicken and the spring roll. The fried chicken was super crispy in the outside and tender in the inside. I think the batter they use for the skin had those crispy cereals to make it crispy. Added the red sauce on top and it was a cherry on top. The broth was also very flavorful and delicious. Great way to wash down the meal. The spring roll was ok. I don’t really like fried spring roll but we ordered to try it. I think dipped with the sauce is good but personally it was eh for me. However my bf did like it so I was say it’s decent. The order came super fast and nice customer service. Would definitely come back again.“

“I came by with a friend on Thursday afternoon to try Klom Klorm’s lunch specials. For 12.95 you can choose an entree and an appetizer. I ordered the pad thai and my friend ordered the pad kee mau (drunken noodles). The pad thai noodles were cooked to perfection, a perfect blend of flavor with springiness and amazing texture from the noodles. The drunken noodles were great as well, having stronger flavors than the pad thai. I personally preferred the pad thai more, but both dishes were superb! We also ordered Thai teas (a bit expensive at $7), which were at the perfect point of not being too sweet or too strong. If you’re in the area I highly recommend checking out Klom Klorm.“
