Superb food. Super service
came for the lunch on Sunday during the Restaurant Week.
It’s not a traditional or authentic Thai restaurant,
it feels more Americanized. The crispy Pad Thai comes with only vegetables, and chicken or shrimp are charged extra; The Pad Thai noodles are very small and extremely thin. Overall, the food isn't particularly delicious.

KRU Brooklyn offers a vibrant dining experience with a mix of tasty and interesting dishes, along with great service. The restaurant is known for its flavorful entrees, including lamb shank with a memorable sauce and moist, flavorful branzino. Appetizers like steak tartar, fresh salmon, and squid are well-received, though the environment can be a bit loud and tables close together due to NYC space constraints. The food during restaurant week was tasty, with some dishes so good that additional orders were needed, and the pre-fixed menu left a positive impression. Special highlights include the crab bite, khao soy, calamari, and the standout tiramisu, which many consider a game changer. The quick service ensures a smooth dining experience, and the staff are attentive and professional. The Laab Bar pop-up introduces unique dishes, setting the restaurant apart with flavorful presentations. Overall, KRU Brooklyn is a lively spot appreciated for its diverse menu, excellent service, and memorable dishes, making it a favorite for repeat visits. Gift cards are available through InKind and Costco.
