I feel like this is the Thai spot I’ve been waiting for. The space is light and airy and beautiful. It feels authentic and modern all at the same time. The owners Amy and Nae are so sweet and kind. Service was amazing and they were able to accommodate food allergies I have. We got the spread, we began with Golden street fries, Tum khaki Pod, a delicious and bright corn salad, shrimp tempura spring rolls, and savory pork dumplings.

Pad see ew was delicious but the serving felt pretty small. Would try again in case it was a fluke because it was definitely yum.
What an incredible meal. Brought a small crew here for dinner. Everything was fresh and delicious! Will definitely be back!

Kub Kao is a family owned and operated Thai spot. The food is delicious, flavorful, and fresh. The owners are super friendly. The family is sweet, and the staff are great. The restaurant has beautiful decor and a great vibe.
The food is all so flavorful and complex. Specific meals mentioned include Thai dumplings, chicken Phad Thai, Curry Puffs, Green Curry Gai Yang, Pad See Ew with Shrimp, Pad Prik Khing with Chicken, chive pancake, khao soi, sour curry, and Branzino over noodles. One group favorite was the chive pancake. The restaurant was able to accommodate a vegetarian by substituting the khao soi for tofu-chicken. The soup was perfect for freezing days.
Kub Kao is a new gem in the neighborhood, truly a hidden gem. It is pricier than other places, but the portions are generous and everything tastes great, offering good value.
