“This cute and cozy wine bar has been opened for quite a while and I just decided to stop by a few weeks ago. I paired shrimp pizza with a glass of sauvignon blanc and it did not disappoint. The staff are very friendly and you'll always run into some neighborhood locals. Definitely a New Rochelle staple and you should stop by if you can. It's great for a low key date night for a cool vibe.“
“Great food and service, the drinks!!!! Always amazing. With a staff that is long lasting, it makes you feel like you're home. You can dress up or go casual which I absolutely love. Their chicken scarp is the best and their pizza and pastas are always great .“
“Our group of six visited Posto 22 on St. Patrick's night. It had been awhile since we had been to New Rochelle for dining and parking can be a bit challenging. After finding a spot on Main street (only $1 per hour) we discovered that Posto 22 had valet parking available. Our party was sat on time and the service was friendly, quick and efficient. The design of the rectangular restaurant space is a bit odd as the thin bar is in front as soon as you walk in. There was a private party in their secondary large room and there is additional space in the rear of the restaurant. There was a wide selection of menu items and specials to choose from and the group started with friend zucchini and artichokes which were very good. Each couple split a salad (tricolore for me & Mrs.) and they were large and flavorful- really excellent. Bread was provided and the cocktails were well presented. Entrees ranged from Ok to very good with some dishes (A pasta special) a bit too flavorful but the portion sizes were very good. Prices overall were fair for these days $146 per couple all in. Our lone dessert, the apple cobbler, was a disappointment- devoid of flavor. There is a spirited mixed crowd befitting the diverse New Rochelle area so you may have to use your outdoor voice to be heard or it might have been the revelry of the St. Patrick's holiday? Table spacing is generous. Overall we enjoyed our foray to New Ro as a good change of pace. I could recommend this restaurant because if you know how to navigate the menu I believe you can have a very good meal.“
“One of my favorite restaurants in all of Astoria! My husband and I always bring friends and family here when they visit the neighborhood. The staff is always so incredibly nice and generous (Miljan is usually our server and is so attentive and hilarious). We always have a wonderful time here, whether it’s a quiet weekday lunch or a packed Saturday night.“
“The vibes: immaculate. The food: delectable. The wines: mouthwatering. The cocktails: fiendishly good. The service: warm like family. Bellacosa is a treasure and a gem with full marks across the board. Go with a big group and taste all the tapas, get the cheese board, share bottle of excellent wine, and split as many of the taste desserts as you can. Go with a friend you need to catch up with and talk and talk while you eat a handful of tapas and sip wine by the glass (by the bottle or the glass, the wine selection is distinctly superb). Go on a date for a romantic evening of staring into each other’s eyes while gentle jazz or funky beats plays not too loud and not too soft. Every aspect of the menu, the cocktails, the wines, and the space itself is crafted with thoughtfulness and intentionality. These are people who want to provide an elite level of service and they DELIVER. Go at any point of the year for a lovely time!“
“I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. This was our second time here and it has quickly become one of our goto places in Astoria. From the greeting at the door to the selection of great wine and cocktails- all unique because the are craft brews- to the staff answering our many questions about the very different and delicious menu to the quality of the food- an awesome experience. Last week we were there and enjoyed live jazz and the musicians mingled and talked with us. The decor is very comfortable. Looking forward to attending the special event nights, too. See you next week- if not before!!“
“Shiraz is still the yet to be discovered and immensely enjoyed in White Plains and the NY suburb Tri-States. . Whether it is for weekday lunch or dinner, a couple sublimed drinks or the Sushi bar, or the more elaborate weekend family eats or gatherings and live “Jazzy JAZX” music , or be it at times a most exquisite private party and surreal ambiance, Shiraz has already become a fine cuisine destination which the patrons take pride In experiencing and regularly returning to great times….great food drink quality ingredients, excellent service, receptive to patrons’ suggestions, and with convenient location in the heart of vibrant white plains, there is no need to travel long to enjoy a most sublimed culinary experience.“
“We loved it! The service was excellent. We arrived around 7:30pm and that's when it started to fill up, so I recommend making a reservation or arriving early. The food was DELICIOUS! We had:1. the tip - omg, what delicious meat!2. Meatballs - sooo good and tasty!3. A country for two men - so flavorful!! Amazing! The owner was really nice. My husband and he hadA short conversation and he was very friendly!Great service and ambiance. AMAZING food!“
“Italian restaurant in Roslyn village but not easily seen as its set back by the water. Food is good, service was good. Noisy and dark, needed a flashlight to see the menu.Sales are large size. My favorite in the Bronzino cooked in paper. There is a nearby municipal lot, street parking, and valet parking available“
“I brought my daughter for dinner this past Thursday night. I didn't know there was live music. I was a little worried at first that my daughter would find the music too loud but she loved it! The honey truffle Brussel sprouts were so delicious. I can't wait to go back and have it again. We also had the risotto funghi and banana bread pudding....both also very tasty. I also tried the happy jalapeño drink...so delicious and not sweet. Overall a wonderful night out!“
“Valentina’s is a hidden gem! I almost didn’t write this review so I can keep it secret…but I decided to share so you can enjoy it too. It’s just the best Italian food for miles around. Everything is made to order and is excellent. The Chicken Martini is a must try, and don’t miss the Veal Parm. Prices are very reasonable and the owner and staff are so friendly and welcoming. You will not be disappointed!!“
“My husband and I had a little date night here during the Christmas season and it was quiet good! I work in the area so was pleasantly surprised to discover it was in my stomping ground. The booths were cozy and perfect for the occasion. The food was well seasoned and fresh. The service was decent..I would recommend it.“
“My husband and I went last night for dinner, and we cannot stop talking about how much we enjoyed it. First, they accommodated us quickly and made us feel welcome despite the fact that we arrived a little over 15 minutes late for our reservation; we were expecting to wait but they seated us right away. The atmosphere is soooo pretty with greenery and fun music playing. Now the food: My husband ordered a cocktail and I ordered wine and both came out promptly & were generous in size. While we waited for our food, we looked at the meals that were coming out of the kitchen and everything looked delicious! The serving sizes are VERY generous. My husband ordered the chicken parm vodka special and I ordered the ravioli and meatball. We easily could have split the chicken parm to share. It was easily one of our favorite meal experiences, as everything was made to perfection. For dessert we ordered the cheesecakes.. I have high expectations for cheesecake and theirs did not disappoint. We both left feeling stuffed but in the best way. No notes. 12/10.“
“I really fell in love with this place. In the midst of the fast flow of traffic and daily life, it is the ideal place for me to stop and dedicate time to myself and the people I love. The atmosphere smells of antique and elegant; the furniture is accurate; and the staff exceptional, ready to satisfy every whim, patient and charismatic. The menu satisfies both wine and beer palates, accompanying the drink with rich and elaborate aperitifs. Highly recommended for anyone with this nostalgic romanticism for the ancient and the need to stop, even for a moment, to enjoy life.“
“We LOVO Boro6! It is out Friday night spot (but make sure you grab a reservation!). The staff are super friendly and always attentive. The food is always great — and the bread — I would just eat the bread and be happy! We need more places like this around Westchester! I hope they expand soon.“
“Great pizza options for both vegans and omnivores. We order takeout pizza from Rini’s every time I visit my friend in the area, and it’s such a treat! The crust is the perfect ratio of crispy/chewy, and they get the balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings right. Well seasoned, delicious pizza!“
“This long time favorite continues on with great service and delicious food. Parking during the day is hit and miss but that aside for those of us who love a local red table cloth Italian with Italians at the helm DiMaggio's is it. One tip try the Lasagna and you will be hooked for life. Large menu and it is all delicious.“
“No question, THE FINEST RESTAURANT in Westchester County, NY. Look you out to eat for a good meal and to be pampered with service. Micheline has the best food north of the City. Period, end of story. From the burger to the fish to the meat, the food is delicious. Always paired with the perfect wine. I'm a beaujolais guy but their selection is vast. My new favorite dish on the menu is the duck and the puree that comes with it. As an appetizer, I love their soups.“
“My favorite gluten-free spot. The food is delicious and seasonal, so you know you're getting the best ingredients. They also make some mean cocktails. Well worth an evening out with friends.Dietary restrictions: Gluten, shellfish, peanuts“
“I had one of the greatest dining experiences at this restaurant a few weeks ago. Everything I expected from a great restaurant was available here. We were greeted at the door. Decided to sit at the bar. Bartender was very friendly and professional. The menu had a ton of options. We decided to go with the mussels and skirt steak. Just amazing. Mussels with fresh and steak was cooked exactly how we ordered. The bread was so delicious we ordered twice - slightly toasted and warm and soft on the inside, perfect for dipping with broth. Sangria is perfect and very refreshing. This is the type of place I will be returning to very soon!“
“This place has immediately become our go-to! My girlfriend and I have been loving their charcuterie boards for 2, they fill it with so many goodies and all the ingredients are super fresh and tasty! The owner/chef is friendly and the joint is family owned and run. Highly recommend visiting for dinner on a weekday or brunch on the weekends!“
“Lovely ambience, delicious food, friendly service, easy to get to, free parking. How can you not love homemade pasta. My husband had linguini vongole and I had some sort of pasta pocket filled with spinach and ricotta. My husband said his was delicious. My pasta was so light and the filling was excellent. We shared a side of shiitake mushrooms and put that on top of our dishes - perfect. They treated us to tiramisu because we went the day of the snowstorm and they had some left over that wouldn't have been fresh the next day. It was superb. Reasonably priced, especially the pasta dishes. We are already looking forward to going back!“
“Had such a lovely dinner at Emilio’s! We’ve ordered takeout before (and it’s great), but it was our first time dining in.Antipasti and salumi are fresh, and we loved the steak frites. Servers are great. But best of all is Sergio, who’s a hoot and shared the best stories. Can’t wait to go back.“
“Came here for the frose, so reviewing the frose. Without the rum float it has a bitterness to it - not unpleasant, but I'd describe it as very rhubarb-forward. Add the rum float and suddenly the rhubarb is gone and all you taste is juicy strawberry goodness. Both ways were great, but the rum float really was incredible. It sounded bizarre to me at first, but Vintage knows their frose: trust them.“
“Exciting to have homemade pasta in this neighborhood. The food is seriously good, and while it's not "cheap" it is much less expensive than similar quality food in other neighborhoods. Great wine selection and creative desserts to boot. Basil creme brulee was a pleasant surpriseVegetarian options: Pesto gemelli and squash ravioli are amazing“
“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“
