Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“Always love this spot. Had my birthday dinner here for ~22 people and they were awesome start to finish. Super helpful picking out menu, drinks, etc. The staff and space are both amazing. All of the food is delicious and the drinks are fun. The boozy affogatos are out of this world. Everyone is still talking about how much fun they had and how good the pizza was. “This is such a beautiful, warm and welcoming space. I feel like a just unearthed a new treasure! Now my favorite cafe. Best atmosphere and the treats are fresh and delicious —albeit a bit pricey, even compared to other cafes in the area. I think the reason for this might be that it is one of those very few places left in the city where one can really sit comfortably and peacefully for hours without feeling rushed to leave so the table can be turned. We should be ready and willing to pay a little extra to help keep these places open; I definitely am. Love this place!“

They just don’t know proper restaurant hospitality skills. Often they don’t know which menu offerings are available , have a laissez faire attitude and or stop by the table too frequently and interrupt conversation. Management : please train your bar staff and wait staff! If that improves you have five star restaurant.“

I was delighted to see that your café offers real, reusable mugs for customers who are staying to enjoy their drinks. I also love that you do not serve plastic bottled water, and offer composting infrastructure to those who want to participate!

That said, I noticed a lot of customers staying to work or read seemingly did not know to ask for the reusable option. Perhaps there are ways you can build that into the ordering routine, to ask folks if they want to have their drink to stay?

By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish, so it means a lot to me to see and support businesses that offer circular options to their customers.

“Juan at Cotto at the LGA terminal C location was very attentive while visiting the terminal on our way back home from our NYC visit. It’s the airport so it’s a little more than if you got it somewhere else but I was very happy with the meatball Parmesan and the wedge salad my wife and I got as well as the Long Island iced tea. It’s New York and is not Burger King and you get what you pay for. They were all very good here. Juan was able to happily accommodate getting a little side of extra marinara sauce for my wife’s sandwich. Was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend. Enjoyed our visit.“

“Been here a few times, both for meals and drinks. The outdoor space is across from Fort Greene park and is relatively quiet despite being on the street. The indoor space is more intimate and you’re seated very close to other patrons which makes it a bit noisier when the restaurant is busy. The food was delicious, we got a mix of the steak frites, French onion soup, and foie gras. They have an extensive wine menu, so it’s a great spot for casual drinks on a nice day too.“
