“Compared to other restaurants, it's twice as expensive but you get half the portion size—meaning you only get a quarter of the food for the same amount of money. The value for money is terrible. If they kept the prices the same but doubled the portions, it would be absolutely perfect.“

“Our favorite tapas place. This evening we had the short rib bruschetta, the meat melts in your mouth. The truffle fries are amazing as always. The funghi pizza was delicious! Our server Eddie was attentive without being overbearing. A+ as always.“

“Went in as a party of 3 on a weekend. We lucked out and got free parking a few blocks away. In the morning this place is a small Cafe, but in the eve it is a bar with smallish menu. We all got cocktails and appetizers. Cocktails are $18 and are very strong. The hummus platter was $22 and we enjoyed the olive one a lot (no chickpeas?) The pulled pork sliders were OK and I enjoyed the wings. Tables are small and decor is modern.“

The manager, Lauren is the best, she takes great care of us every time we go! If you’re looking for a place to do happy hour, they have probably be best menu in the area. Great prices on drinks and food! Shishito peppers, crispy brussels, delicious meatballs, and short rib sliders! All on happy hour plus so much more! They even offer a bottle of wine with a charcuterie board for only $35 during happy hour!
At this point, I’ve had pretty much every entrée on the menu, all are fantastic! My favorites being the spiced steak and the salmon!

“From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, this restaurant was amazing. Monroe’s offers a cozy feel, with amazing staff and welcoming smiles. We started out with drinks and appetizers. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us to delicious appetizer choices. I had the eggplant rollatini special and my dad had the clams orreganata. I order items with vodka sauce quite frequently and this was the best I have ever had. It was smooth and creamy with amazing flavor! The homemade focaccias bread was delicious and airy, the perfect piece of bread to soak up the remainder of the sauces from our appetizers (because it was too good to leave a single drop). For dinner I ordered the skirt steak, medium rare. The marinade was sensational, and the skirt steak cut like butter! It was cooked to perfection. Even the vegetables and potatoes it came with were delicious. My dad ordered the penne Ala vodka and added chicken cutlet to the dish. He couldn’t stop raving about it. We were so full after our appetizers and main entrees, but the dessert menu was too tempting. We shared a slice of the raspberry cheesecake and oh my goodness, if you like cheesecake, order this! They make it in house and it was the perfect sweet treat to end our dining experience. I paired it with a cappuccino. Monroe’s doesn’t disappoint, even to the last detail. My cappuccino had a cute cinnamon heart on top. Overall, Monroe’s was truly a delightful and pleasant experience. We will definitely be returning and recommending to all of our friends and family!“

“I've dined here at least 20 times and have always had a great experience. Our server Deneen was outstanding. So sweet and professional and took great care of us during our dinner. She should be commended. Two of us got the chicken breast dinner and the other two got the pork chop. Everything was delicious as usual. Our wine was great as were the little desserts they always serve. Seasons 52 has become a favorite which is why we always come back!“

“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“Been going to Mill Creek Tavern frequently over the last 10 years and was never disappointed. They have a great menu with numerous choices and also have daily specials. The service is above expectations. Always pleasant and efficient. The service staff stops by frequently to remove dishes and anything else on the table that you are done with. “We love to come to Capital Grille for the tuna. The chef always makes it to perfection. We enjoyed the Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigot so much that we had a second round...perfect for a hot June evening! For the first time we had the greens salad but with the lime (or lemon?) vinaigrette dressing. For some reason that dressing was too spicy for both of our tastes, but we had already poured it on the salad so we ate it. Next time we will know to order a different dressing. Thank you for another great dining experience!“

“I enjoyed a Friday night dinner there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bartenders were very attentive.
The dining room is small,outdoor seating and seating at the bar is available.

They are able to open the large windows in the front of the restaurant and gives an all around al fresco dining experience. It was a very warm day, and I would have preferred air conditioning but it was still nice.

I didn't have a reservation, but was able to sit at the bar. Which was very nice.

They have a good drink menu with nice cocktails and a good selection of wines and beers. I went with a Peroni.

The menu is small but the is a great selection. The roasted chicken wings were delicious, the Uncle Frank's Pizza and the Meatball Pizza were excellent!

I will go back to Uncle Franks but will remember to make a reservation.“

“We dined at the Majors Restaurant in East Meadow. Dinner was delicious. I have no complaints about that. Here is my issue. Little, but it’s the principle. My husband ordered a cup of coffee after our $158 Dinner. The coffee came and when he put milk in it, I noticed it was really dark. I tasted it. WOW it was burnt, old & muddy. I called the waiter over and asked for a new brewed cup of coffee. He came back with a cup from the SAME pot. Normally I would of just moved on & left it. But when the bill came we were charged $3.50. For 1 cup of burnt coffee? Sorry it was the principle. If you are going to charge your clients $3.50 for a cup of coffee, invest in a Keurig where every cup is fresh. You make a great margin per cup?“

This place was renovated not too long ago, so the interior is all brand new. My only complaint was I had ordered a bottle of wine, and my server did not bring an ice bucket, and did not refill any of our glasses-only the initial pour from opening the bottle. Aside from that, I was happy with my visit and will return. I used to be a regular here before the renovation.“
