Despite the very short notice, SaVino’s accommodated our group and took care of every detail. The food was beyond excellent and the service was phenomenal. Even the table settings were beautiful. Everyone who attended (all hearty Italian eaters!) raved about the food. Thank you SaVino’s for everything.“

Based on the fact that both of our entre’s , filet, trout, were perfectly cooked and presented and delightful, a four star minimum is justified. Our side of brussels was undercooked and hard as rocks. The cocktails were perfectly done. No cheese cake after a steak? No coffee beans in the sambuca? The venue turned out to be a cut below. The pricing was fair in my opinion so on balance, an average dining experience overall. There are better options for sure.“

“From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, this restaurant was amazing. Monroe’s offers a cozy feel, with amazing staff and welcoming smiles. We started out with drinks and appetizers. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us to delicious appetizer choices. I had the eggplant rollatini special and my dad had the clams orreganata. I order items with vodka sauce quite frequently and this was the best I have ever had. It was smooth and creamy with amazing flavor! The homemade focaccias bread was delicious and airy, the perfect piece of bread to soak up the remainder of the sauces from our appetizers (because it was too good to leave a single drop). For dinner I ordered the skirt steak, medium rare. The marinade was sensational, and the skirt steak cut like butter! It was cooked to perfection. Even the vegetables and potatoes it came with were delicious. My dad ordered the penne Ala vodka and added chicken cutlet to the dish. He couldn’t stop raving about it. We were so full after our appetizers and main entrees, but the dessert menu was too tempting. We shared a slice of the raspberry cheesecake and oh my goodness, if you like cheesecake, order this! They make it in house and it was the perfect sweet treat to end our dining experience. I paired it with a cappuccino. Monroe’s doesn’t disappoint, even to the last detail. My cappuccino had a cute cinnamon heart on top. Overall, Monroe’s was truly a delightful and pleasant experience. We will definitely be returning and recommending to all of our friends and family!“

After we ordered, she directed all of her attention to my hudband, and not me, even when i spoke to her she didn't seem to look at me. The kitchen made an obvious, visible mistake on my order and it was brought to our table anyway. She did not come to check with us after delivery and it took us 10-15 minutes to get her attention. She recognized the problem right away and the kitchen had it fixed quickly but my husband was pretty far into his meal by the time mine came back (I told him to eat because it would be cold if he waited.) Pretty ]poot service for a $48 chicken breast.“

“Let me start with the service was fast and attentive. I ordered steak with seafood (medium rare) and it came in an appropriate time served neatly with a few extras i didnt even notice on the menu. Cooked to perfection which I was happy about. Would love to come back to try all their steaks worth the visit. I went solo but definitely food atmosphere for a group of people. Full service bar even though I dont drink they had enough options to stop in just for a drink. Nice dessert menu to compliment your meal afterwards. Felt like a home away from home. Can't imagine going in and not ordering one of their steaks compliments to the chef!“

“We dined at the Majors Restaurant in East Meadow. Dinner was delicious. I have no complaints about that. Here is my issue. Little, but it’s the principle. My husband ordered a cup of coffee after our $158 Dinner. The coffee came and when he put milk in it, I noticed it was really dark. I tasted it. WOW it was burnt, old & muddy. I called the waiter over and asked for a new brewed cup of coffee. He came back with a cup from the SAME pot. Normally I would of just moved on & left it. But when the bill came we were charged $3.50. For 1 cup of burnt coffee? Sorry it was the principle. If you are going to charge your clients $3.50 for a cup of coffee, invest in a Keurig where every cup is fresh. You make a great margin per cup?“

They taste like thawed out old spinach that is not edible. The spinach is chewy and unpleasant. The lamb chops are delicious and the fries were made to perfection. The service was good and the price was right.“
