Rio-Authentic Vietnamese & Steak House is a Vietnamese restaurant in Mineola, NY. The restaurant opened almost a year ago and offers nice decor, pool tables, and a chill and relaxing atmosphere that is perfect for hang outs and conversations. There is a small parking lot, but an entire parking lot is available on the other side of the entrance, and a free parking lot borders the restaurant.
The food tastes really fresh and delicious. The Pho has good textures, and the Curry is legit authentic and delicious. The banh xeo is delicious and comes as 2 pcs per order with shrimp and bean sprouts, and they give a bowl of many toppings. The Eggrolls are very good, and the grill pork is absolutely flavorful with a nice hit of black pepper. The Grilled Chicken w/vermicelli is light and adequate to feeling full by meal's end. The Vietnamese ice coffee is also available.
The service is really out of this world and amazing. Everyone is super nice, personable, and provided all requests, and the manager and owner are really nice. Prices are reasonable. This is a place many should try.
