“Had a really nice time at Tavern 157! The wagyu burger was juicy and full of flavor, and the oysters were really fresh. Loved the drinks and the cozy atmosphere too. Big shoutout to Nicky for taking such good care of us! Super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without having to ask. Great food, great service, and just a fun place to hang out. Will definitely be back!“

“Went for the happy hour, stayed for the service

We went for some happy hour but the drafts happened to be down. Our waiter was pleasant and accommodating so we stayed anyway for some beer and appetizers. Came for happy hour but left happy even without it.“

“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

Fensenjoon had such a great sauce and duck was cooked well with crispy and juicy bits that made it delicious. The kashk bedemjoon was delicious and paired well with the babari. Tahchin was crispy and was glad we ordered it to eat with the fensenjoon. Would definitely come back for more dishes.

Our server, Carol, was wonderful. And she gave me a delicious flan desert and everyone sang happy birthday. Thank you Carol and everyone! See you soon!“

“Fantastic value for a solid 9 course tasting menu with an amuse bouche and a petit four. Some highs and lows with an emphasis on asian flavors but it was an enjoyable hour and a half. I really loved the braised duck lettuce wraps and maple bacon donuts but i found the wagyu meatball dish too salty.“

“Such delicious food and great service! I ordered the kabob koobideh with a sharbat to drink and it was the perfect meal and pairing! My only complaint would be how noisy the dining areas are- it's a popular place so it's always packed, and the subway tile on the walls bounces the voices and noise. It's also hard to get a table, and reservations are competitive, but it is worth it!“

“The food at Djondjon is spot on.... This restaurant is a jewel. The food is amazing, and the hospitality is off the chart. There is free jazz often enough. The quality far surpasses the price. I love their pasta, their fish and their goats which come in various varieties. Their appetizers are yummy. I will continue to patronize this place. I had my Cabrit boukannen ( grilled goat) and it really pleased my taste buds.“

“Try their Pabellon Arepa! You will forget your name and lose your mind. It is a masterpiece, chef-d'oeuvre. Insanely delicious. And don’t leave it unattended on the table! I am from upstate New York. We have hundreds of Mexican restaurants up there and none of them can make Arepa even close to La Napa’s.“

Only cons were the slightly loud music (but got drowned out/easier as more people came in) & the fact we reserved outdoor seating but the singular outside table was already full when we got there and had to sit inside. “The servers were super kind and attentive and made sure to come around and keep everyones water full. We had chips and salsa as an appetizer, the salsa and guacamole were really good! The salsa was super flavorful, but not chunky at all if that's what you're into. My fiancée got chicken fajitas and they came out fresh and hot. She thought they were great and enjoyed the rest later as there was enough to take a little with us. I ordered a steak wet burrito with red sauce and it was awesome - with the chips from the appetizer especially! It was a nice sized burrito so i finished a little later too with a couple of the leftover chips. The restaurant was super small inside (probably 3 or 4 tables and a bigger party table) but very nicely decorated I really like the lighting and the party table on the back had some nice mirrors and a curtain for privacy. They did also have some outdoor seating if that's your thing too. It was very loud in there I will say though and it was hard to hear eachother and the server talk. But that wasnt a huge deal to us - but I know its worth noting for some.“
