“Very good! The food was amazing - appetizer & entree. Got the mezze & PDQ - both amazing - and picadinho & herb roasted half chicken, also SO good. Portion sizes were perfect! Service was great as multiple servers came by each time. Drinks were also good! Only cons were the slightly loud music (but got drowned out/easier as more people came in) & the fact we reserved outdoor seating but the singular outside table was already full when we got there and had to sit inside. But the ambiance was very nice and made the move not disappointing at all. Hope this place does well & sticks around!“

It’s a nice place to grab a few drinks, get some food, and hang out with friends. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome.

“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“This is a bit of an upscale tapas bar, knowledge staff, not obtrusive. It did remind me of some upscale places in Spain. Go eat tapas the Manhattans with chocolate rim omg! Food was good too!“

“I can tell this place is special and that the owners and team behind it put a lot of care and love into the food. The sauces are clearly made fresh from people who know Thai food well. I’m so lucky I get to eat this food often. I would upload photos but I ate it so quickly that all that sit in front of me now are plates that have been licked clean.“

I thought the Spicy Monkfish was very flavorful and good and the dolsot albap was surprisingly very tasty. Im usually not the biggest fan of albap but this was not too fishy and the crispy rice on the bowl was very pleasant and went well with the dish.
Duck bulgogi probably least special and ok to skip but not bad.“

“Had dinner at Tavern 157 with friends last night and had such a great experience! The atmosphere was beautiful, and the service was excellent. Definitely try the foie gras uni and oysters. They also have an amazing happy hour menu—perfect for a night out with friends!“

“This place is amazing. We tried the fava bean hummus - bursting with flavor and garlic forward (which I enjoy). The steak and grits was so buttery and delicious as well. “Absolutely wonderful — hands down one of the best meals of the trip. Every dish we ordered was excellent: the watermelon salad, tuna, mandu, steak and potatoes, tteokbokki, and the sesame bread and butter pudding were all full of flavor and beautifully presented.

I loved the Korean-fusion small-plates concept — creative, shareable and really well executed. The cocktails were also excellent.

We sat at the bar for a 5 p.m. dinner before a 7 p.m. show, and the timing was perfect. Service was sharp, everything came out at just the right pace, and the bar had such a lively, engaging atmosphere with great conversation from the team.

Fensenjoon had such a great sauce and duck was cooked well with crispy and juicy bits that made it delicious. The kashk bedemjoon was delicious and paired well with the babari. Tahchin was crispy and was glad we ordered it to eat with the fensenjoon. Would definitely come back for more dishes.

“Fantastic value for a solid 9 course tasting menu with an amuse bouche and a petit four. Some highs and lows with an emphasis on asian flavors but it was an enjoyable hour and a half. I really loved the braised duck lettuce wraps and maple bacon donuts but i found the wagyu meatball dish too salty.“

“Went here on a whim to celebrate our friends special ocassion. The interior is nicely decorated and quiet. We ordered some patatas bravas, cheese and ham platter, white sangria and the chicken! Our food was brought our promptly and we enjoyed our food and drinks. The plates were easily shareable among 4 people and the food was good. The star was definitely the chicken. I'm not sure what they put in that chicken or how they cooked it but it was delicious. One of our friends declared ir the best chicken he's had in his life.

My only complaint would be how noisy the dining areas are- it's a popular place so it's always packed, and the subway tile on the walls bounces the voices and noise. It's also hard to get a table, and reservations are competitive, but it is worth it!“

“I went to Plado for the first time last night with a couple of friends who had already been there several times and raved about it. They were not wrong to rave! The food was simply superb. Every dish was an experience to savor. It actually made me stop and slow down so I could enjoy what was happening in my mouth. Everything had various levels of flavor that made the experience worthwhile. I can’t wait to go back and try more. Standouts for me were hard to choose but if I had to, the taro gnocchi, duck confit, and roasted carrots were my favorite. Desserts were out of this world delicious and unique so I encourage everyone to save room. The ambiance is lovely and the chef and his wife are warm and welcoming. I wish them a long and successful stay in Glen Cove!“

Both the indoor space and the garden are beautiful and have such a warm, inviting atmosphere. “The food at Djondjon is spot on.... This restaurant is a jewel. The food is amazing, and the hospitality is off the chart. There is free jazz often enough. The quality far surpasses the price. I love their pasta, their fish and their goats which come in various varieties. Their appetizers are yummy. I will continue to patronize this place. I had my Cabrit boukannen ( grilled goat) and it really pleased my taste buds.“
