Tinto is a true fine dining experience in Washington Heights. Amazing service, high end tapas and a great date night atmosphere. One of my local favorite spots.
Went for Restaurant Week. The RW menu had great selections, the food was great. We added a couple of tapas on top of it. The service was very friendly and made great suggestions re coursing. Nice romantic atmosphere for a small room. Thank you!

Tinto Tapas Restaurant & Wine Bar is a small, elegant, and welcoming establishment that offers a good selection of tapas, entrees, and a lovely wine list. The food is well-prepared, delicious, and well-priced, featuring dishes such as shrimp with garlic bread, octopus, seafood empanadas, and burrata. The seafood paella is superb, with a light Latin touch that enhances its flavor. The pulpo is also very well made, showcasing great presentation. The service is gracious and friendly, with staff who are efficient and knowledgeable. The ambiance is amazing, making it an awesome and classy addition to the neighborhood. Guests appreciate the clean, half-open kitchen, and the dessert options, like the creamy Crema Catalana and light salty churros with chocolate sauce, provide a perfect finish to the meal.
