Serafina's is a lovely restaurant; the service, food and ambience is excellent. My daughter and I had a delicious lunch there today. The bill came to $100 including a tip, which I never mind spending. However, it was upsetting to see that we were charged $14 for 2 cups of coffee plus 2 refills. It wouldn't have bothered me had they put the additional $7.oo into the cost of the meal. This was cheap and petty.
Our meal was excellent! The Faroe Island salmon was perfect! The noise level is high when the restaurant is busy, but when the crowd thins out it's all good. I come here every now and then - the parking is great, the food is always good, they have an outside dining area, prices are okay and the menu selection has good offerings. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Had lunch with two others a little past the midday rush hour so there were only a few tables occupied. Oddly, we could hardly have a conversation because the “music” was so loud and intrusive. Ambient music should be in the background not so loud that it is hard for patrons to have a conversation.
