“I had a great night at the oak house. From the second I sat at the bar, Baze set a great impression. Professional, experienced and completely dialed in. He was attentive without being intrusive as it was my first time there and I was on a date. He knew exactly how to read the room. That kind of service makes a difference. I ordered the Pears and Lychee cocktail and it was excellent and made with precision. On Baze’s recommendation, I went with the peach glazed wings and the short rib. Both delivered. The wings had real flavor with a good caramelized finish, and the short rib was very good and cooked perfect. What stood out most was the consistency in service. Baze stayed on top of everything and made sure the night ran smoothly. It’s rare to find a spot that gets both the food and the hospitality right. He definitely helped make it a strong date night. I’ll definitely be back.“

“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

The cocktail menu was great and the drinks I actually got were divine but the wait for them and the mood of the server was less then desirable especially for a birthday party, she treated us as if we were a hindrance and we were bothering her by asking her for drinks. Usually, when booking a private party, you get the best of the best as your server if this was their best, it definitely was not good enough.“

Was fantastic. Was batted down thin and breaded and seasoned to perfection. VERY tender, I only had to use my folk to cut. The marinara was fresh semi chunky lite delicious and perfect. The fresh bread came in handy to clean up my plate. My wife has a fresh pasta marinara dish and NO complaints there. “We enjoyed our dinner at Aperiti on a friday evening after work. The restaurant is small and cozy and very well suited for a cold winter night. The service staff were very young and provided attentive service. We shared appetizers including the eggplant and Pera salad both delicious! For entrees we ordered a flatbread to share the Tartufina Bianca and a pasta plate the Paccheri which is absolutely delicious. The portions are not large nor family style but for us they were just right as we weren't starving. We washed everything down with a chianti and montepulciano. The menu prices higher than what I expected almost manhattan -like it was worth our dining experience and everything we tasted was delicious. Thank you.“

“We had a great dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House. My wife and I shared the porterhouse for two, and it was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. Our daughter had the crab cakes, which she loved. For sides, we ordered the creamed spinach, garlic mashed potatoes, and the lobster mac and cheese — and the mac and cheese was so big it honestly could have been a meal on its own! Everything was flavorful and served hot. We wrapped up the night with the crème brûlée, chocolate lava cake, and banana bread pudding — all fantastic and the perfect ending to a great meal. A special shoutout to Emily, our server, who was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. We'll definitely be back!“

“Tarry Tavern for dinner: Mom had Seared maine sea scallops with local corn and leek risotto and I got the roasted Hudson valley duck breast with pecan cranberry wild rice and sunchoke purée. Unreal. Mom cleaned her plate at a restaurant for the first time in ages and mine was to die for. We shared the pumpkin pecan bread pudding for dessert. “We took my husband and dad out for Father's Day looking for a wonderful time. With any holiday you know it's going to be busy and we anticipated some wait of course. Boy we were left more than disappointed with the overall experience with this restaurant. We had a reservation on the deck, but after being initially seated inside, my husband mentioned the outside status and we were gruffly seated to an outside table. The menu looked delish and we ordered some mimosas which the waiter said came with the specials. We got the drinks right away but had to flag down our waiter to place our breakfast order. Everyone around us got bread and olives and when I asked if we were getting it he said it just for lunch, but it was brunch! Everyone around us who came before us is getting their meals and we are just sitting there. We didn't get our food until over an hour later and mine and my dad's order was incorrect. When I got up to mention this and speak to the manager, to add insult to injury the manager can't show his face, he sends another waiter to talk to us. The waiter apologizes on his behalf and says that in order to make us happy we will be comped for my dad's and my meal. We say thank you and tell him we feel horrible he was to be put in this position. We get up to use the bathroom and get things going with the check and the waiter hands me the bill. The manager is standing right there. I see that there is a charge for the Mimosas. At this point I am really upset and I say "You said that they were included". The manager then rudely gets in my face and says "No, no, no. The drinks are Not included today". I tell him that the waiter told me so and he says no again. I then give him a piece of my mind of the whole experience and how it put a damper on the whole day. To this he curtly says " We are busy today miss, good day". This place has the potential to be excellent with the right manager and staff. To be disrespectful this way and then on Father's Day to boot was downright awful. Be a man and own up to making a mistake, don't send another employee to make things right.“

“Enjoyed the food. My kids enjoyed it as well, loved how the pizza wasn't “burnt” on the bottom. My issue was the service. We split water and my server ignored the situation, never smiled and we felt we were bothering her with our zero special requests and kindness. But food reigns supreme, so we will go back.“
